For weeks, BBC News along with channel four news and ITV news, along with our own luvvies, and some newspapers, including the Daily Mail have ben ridiculing Donald trump, the right wing candidate for the presidency of the USA.
There was very little criticism of Hillary Clinton and her policies. It was always unwise fore the British People , News broadcasters and Newspapers to take sides on this issue, for it seems that Clinton has fallen at the last hurdle, or at least been severely hurt but the current reporting of her wrong doings. We still do not know what the result will be, and of course we have no say in the outcome, a good reason to remain neutral . This could be a lesson to us all to remain objective, and nail our colours to the mast.
Events can make fools of us all.

Well yet again I offer you the wisdom of Clarkson

Do you know the reason for the electoral college in America and why it was brought about ?
It is not about the popular vote

It is not about 2 or 3 states deciding who becomes president and fook everyone else

If it were on popular voting, just like our elections UKIP would have hundreds of MPs,but it aint
I see Trump is making the same sounds that the failed Laffer Curve visited upon the electorate. Lower taxation = more jobs = trickle-down wealth. The last time it was tried the new jobs failed to turn up, and trickle-down was actually trickle-up!
I am not overly concerned about what Trump gets up to, that is for the American electorate to concern themselves with and I also do not believe that Trump is a warmonger.

I would rather that we concentrate our thoughts about the UK and Brexit.

The so called "liberal elite" whose responses to the Brexit and Trump votes - demanding that a democratic process be put aside because they didn't get what they wanted - shows them to be far closer to fascists than liberals have been and remain so far out of touch with the reality of the "average person" that they were genuinely shocked by these results. Had they been as grounded and "normal" as they fervently wish themselves to be they would have seen the writing on the wall.

All The Best
I think Leanne Wood is an excellent example of the political elite's reaction to the people making their will known

For decades this country has been gently and carefully repositioned through brainwashing to the point that it is now political suicide to consider democracy "the will of the people". Democracy is not "the exercise of the will of the majority" but is now "the exercise of the will of the minority disguised as "the need for the will of the minority to be respected by the majority, for to do anything else is despotic fascism".

Under that banner Ms Wood has rolled out her minority view of how things should be under the pretence that anything else is fascist, racist, or worse. While all the time ensuring that her policies, which are themselves racist, discriminating as they do against the english, are politically accepted.

She came up against the tidal wave that was the people finally being given real power and did not like it one bit. Starting from her wailing about six weeks out from the brexit vote that people "misunderstood" what it was all about ...

America does not need a nother politician. It needs a get up and do hands on approach and someone who has earned his living in the real world and survived. I think he will serve 2 x terms once they see the economy growing, jobs coming back, and immigration taken care of.
