I was listening to Saturday Live thismorning on Radio 4.

There was a very interesting interview with a chap who suffered from stammering (a condition that can be quite subtle in some ways). He was a former government minister.

He mentioned in passing that there is a Stammering Association. After a few seconds for this to sink in, I spluttered on my tea as my Evil Side considered what the URL of the association would be.

www.w.ww.wwwww.ww.wwwwwww.stammering.org ?

......

I'll get my coat.

Shouldn't this be in the jokes forum. Not that it's particularly funny

Quite possibly, although it isn't a joke... merely a personal experience.

Fear not, it will soon sink into obscurity.

Actually does anyone remember Gareth Gates on ''Pop Idol''..who had such a bad stammer..that he could hardly speak..

And yet went on to sing a song perfectly..no stammer?
