Trouble is that what he says in the article makes too much sense. The ones who drink in the koolaid fountain will be furious.

So now we have people who take the word of Trump as been the final word in common sense, yet the reality is that Angela Merkel has not done her popularity ratings much harm by allowing around a million refugees into Germany.

Every opinion poll shows that an election tomorrow would result in Angela Merkels party winning, and the far right coming absolutelly nowhere, so much for Trumps observations.

On the subject of Russia, Trump said "nuclear weapons should be part of it and reduced very substantially, in return for lifting US sanctions"

But hey, just wait a minute here, the sanctions were imposed because Russian equipment, military hardware and men were inside the two eastern provinces of Ukraine fighting the Ukrainians, and the Russians are still there inside someone elses country, trying to destabalise Ukraine.

The only fitting word that applies here is "Appeasement", or letting Putin get away with violating the sovereign integrity of another nation, not good enough, the free world and those who want to see the rule of international law now look to Europe, not America.

Who takes the word of a trump as the FINAL word of common sense?
Perhaps a little bit less misleading hyperbole would help your credibility?
Didn't every opinion poll predict a remainer and Clinton win?
Just a minute there ,Trump has already question the relevance of NATO and looks more interested in forging relations with Russia than indulging Europe.
No one gives a shit about the problems in the UKraine except the EU and the US.
Edit...just the EU...

So when Europhiles preach appeasement of foreign powers who do not have the interests of the British Citizen at heart that is called "progressive and liberal".

But when anyone else does it appeasement is a pejorative?

All The Best

I find myself suddenly reminded of 1984.
