Unfortunately the malcontents in the Tory party have had far more time in government in which to both divide and to damage this country.
The country will get over it.The protesters will go back to dying their orange hair.Maybe a few more tattoos and piercings with their dole money, while sitting with their bastard kids telling tales of rioting, attacking the enemy in full frontal charges, just like the light brigade. (Oh how the word BRAVERY has changed.)

Just like the divided country got over the Iraq war.You know the one with BLIAR and BUSH

Only difference is,TRUMP hasn't killed anyone yet.
The country never recovered from the decimation of the UK economy during the 1951 to 1964 period of Conservative government. Nor from the underlying economic damage done by thatcher 1979 to 1990.

You know even less about the Iraq war than you know about the economy.

At this point I have to ask a serious question, are millions of people so thick as to be easily distracted by stories about immigrants and Muslims that it renders them virtually blind to the wider truth?

YES, YES, YES!

I've started a thread elsewhere which indicates the right wing of the Tory party wants to carry on importing cheap labour, the hard right contingent on this forum is completely ignoring that thread! And lets face it certain members on here are always trying to shoehorn in immigration as the cause of most of our woes, regardless of other well ducumented evidence, it's an appeal to bigotry and it blinds many to the true facts. ;D

And the Telegraph which initially published the piece and always allows comments on anti EU stories has in this instance blocked comments! ;D

Yes, yes, yes, we shall see, those that are happy to be stuck in a rut will agree with you, as for us others, we wish to make progress one way or another, the EU has proven itself not to want to move forward so we have left the sclerotic tar baby behind and fucking good riddance to it, all it ever did was to slow things down.
Its quite deplorable how some people see their own country in such a bad light. Its as if they want it to fail, just so that they can achieve their own aspirational dreams. Shame on them.
We were stuck in a mostly Tory rut as we descended from the richest most advanced and most powerful country in the world in the latter part of the 19th cent. to the economic mire of the 1950s and 60s. That's the reality of the pre-EU world, as experienced by the UK.

Will we return to that rut ? Seems quite likely to me. Unless that is, there is a seed change in the mindset of those with the wealth and power that will encourage a seed change in the rest. Which seems to be very unlikely.

I know a lot more about the Iraq war than you will ever know sunshine. The fact you still defend the piece of shit called BLIAR,tells me where your loyalties stand, and it's not for this country. As for economics,I just like to laugh at all you fools putting up your pages and pages of pie charts and bar graphs and saying to everyone,"See I told ya,we lost a pound of GDP last year and it's still falling."

You carry on with your pathetic graphs saw enough of them during Brexit (all wrong BTW)

But that lose 65M v lose 440M market size is the starting point isn't it?

Or as I put it a long while ago. Brexit for the EU will be like losing a foot but for the UK losing a leg. Both lose but guess which is going to run the faster afterwards.

David Davis is a good guy but he's no miracle worker especially when handicapped in negotiations by that arse Boris offending people.

Take that 440m and divide it into the ROW.See what you come up with ?
A massive loss for the UK once you exclude countries with lower wages than the UK as free trade deals with such are just death to UK jobs

Having a good attitude is not much of a business plan. Wrapping Brexit in your flag is not a plan, either. It looks as if Brexit came about without any sort of plan, at all. It's all very Trumpesque.

The plans what ever they are will be presented to the HOC for discussion just before they are passed by the HOC. The claim that there are no plans being drawn up or already drawn up { but not yet published} is just nonsense Like so much in politics we just have to wait and see.
One plan is to initiate article 50 next month. Will you all apologise if Brexit turns out to be a success?

I don't wish for or require that shite, have seen and done enough graphs in my lifetime. However I do like to have a laugh at the so called EXPERTS (so overated, don't ya think ?) on here who love to put pretty pictures up on here and debate shite.

I learned all I need to know about these so called EXPERTS during the GENERAL election,The BREXIT referendum, and the TRUMP campaign.

Now you tell me why, I should listen to these so called EXPERTS ?

Never mind the second rate so called EXPERTS on here, who like to think they are clever.

BTW on an after thought,

Have you seen the news,FILLON ( French presidential hopeful ) and his wife will be indicted for fraud this week.
Also Christine Lagarde (IMF ) found GUILTY of NEGLIGENCE, ( whom you support BTW ) and you want me to look at your graphs !jk! !jk!

YOU COULD'NT MAKE IT UP

Just a final point, being in a majority does not mean you are right. :)

Will you all apologise if Brexit turns out to be a success?
And will you admit defeat when it turns out to be the mother of all clusterfucks?

Don't worry though the better off will be fine, regardless of the final outcome.
