Several posters here have indicated, and on occasions identified, those they have on ignore. Am I right or wrong in saying this. A simple R or W will be appreciated from members. |

Of course they have. Declaring a person to be on ignore is a form of insult and so declaring has been against the rules for a long time. Guess what, we sometimes choose to ignore it or just send the offender a ticking off message (that others have no knowledge of) but when we're dealing with a persistent offender sometimes we have to place a mod notice or take further action |

Of course he doesn't, sadly every mod notice or moved post is an opportunity for some to stir poo |

When I'm told it isn't allowed, respond that it happens, and then told to go search and find examples, yes; I do give a toss ....... the implication was that I was making it up ........ to have a go at the mod. Neither are true! If it's insulting to be put on ignore then 'insult' isn't a strong enough word for what some moderators see fit to be deliver. |

You do like imagining sleights don't you You posted "There have several mentions from posters stating who they have on ignore that have not been mod removed!" So you were asked to back it with examples. Perhaps you hadn't noticed that it's quite usual here for posters to be asked to actually substantiate points made. Perhaps you hadn't noticed that that and my follow up comment were made in a Dungeon subforum so if I'd wanted to be seriously insulting I very much could have. But chose not to. |
