(Lost An Aod is a view of the sea in Breton.)

Just got back from three weeks in Brittany, (Lost An Aod is where the nearest bus stop to our mobile home is.)
Low points of the stay got bitten several times by a spider until I found out where it was lurking. Jammed my hand in an extendable ladder. (My wife had to come out of retirement as a nurse temporarily.)

The high points, concert at local restaurant with a Breton/Irish band who my wife accompanied with her Bodhran. (Irish Drum.)
Odd mix of music including tribute song to Che Guevara, (at the request of local ancient communist,) free Catalonia and free Corsica songs.
Strange the only non local people attending were me and my wife.
Trip by bus to Brest, (a magical mystery tour for a whole €1.50 each,) unitary ticket works on the bus, the trams in Brest and the new cable car system over the river.
Lots of banter in a "workers" restaurant in the rough docks area of Brest. (I will be going there again.)
As per usual it is the local people who are the stars.
Came back to Britain with the car loaded with cheap veg.

One strange thing, notices about a butter shortage in supermarkets, plus a notice in the farm shop we use that only regular customers would be supplied with butter. (Luckily we count as regular customers.)

Bretons cannot cook without butter so a shortage of butter is a disaster not an inconvenience.

On the other hand veg in Brittany is dirt cheap currently, which is why we came back with a lot.
