Removing the smell of cat wee.

For some perverse reason known only to the cat that did it. A cat decided to do a "power wee," on my dressing gown when it was on the washing line.
Any ideas of how to remove the pong, washing the dressing gown does not seem to have any effect

Dettol laundry cleanser

(and feed the cat when it asks next time!)

We don't have a cat, but due to the jungle that is our back garden numerous cats inhabit it throughout the day.

Besides. You are really your cat's pet, by the sound of it. "I want food NOW and make it snappy, peasant!"

A higher washing line may help. Good luck with washing the smell out.

I tried everything when a neighbours Tom Cat walked into the house and sprayed on the bannister.

Boiling water from the kettle finally shifted the smell......but I had to mop it up afterwards.

I doubt it. It must be the first time the cat slashed on your clothes because you wouldn’t have asked the question . If you ever see a cat stand 20 ft away from something and piss on it , take a video and send it to David Attenborough ::)

I have seen a cat pee 20 feet, if I had not stepped aside quickly the bastard would have peed on me. (Which is what I suspect the cat was trying to do.)
I know it was 20 feet because it peed the full length of the outside wall of my garage.

You really shouldn't exaggerate like this - it's not an escaped big cat in your garden

And get a hobby , clear up your garden if it is a mess - you must waste hours just looking out of the window to notice the urinary habits of the feline population (20 ft ?- get it recorded)

No exaggeration involved, do some research.
I own my property outright, so what state the back garden is in is no-one else's business.

As there is no evidence that a moggy will projectile wee 20 ft then I had a dog that could p*** over a goal post .

Given the disbelieving ill informed people on this forum I mush prefer that they do their own research and then apologise.
(I would reference a video on how far a female can wee horizontally but I would be permanently barred from this forum.)

You post a claim that you can’t prove and call other people ignorant.
I suspect that you are simply telling porkies and projecting that towards anyone who questions you fantasies.
Post up proof of a cat projectile weeing 20 ft and I will apologise .

I have seen one of the cats wee horizontally for 20 feet, and it would be a pointless exercise contacting the Guinness book of records because it would not be a record.

I have no idea, in this instance it was a small tortoise shell cat. I didn't think it to be anything unusual so I really cannot understand what people's problem is.

You would if you posted a video of a human urinating (such posting in the UK is illegal) or if you posted it as a flash video or if animal abuse was involved but if you just posted the link with a clear warning?
