Removing the smell of cat wee.

For some perverse reason known only to the cat that did it. A cat decided to do a "power wee," on my dressing gown when it was on the washing line.
Any ideas of how to remove the pong, washing the dressing gown does not seem to have any effect

If you ever see a cat stand 20 ft away from something and piss on it , take a video and send it to David Attenborough ::)
I have seen a cat pee 20 feet, if I had not stepped aside quickly the bastard would have peed on me. (Which is what I suspect the cat was trying to do.)
I know it was 20 feet because it peed the full length of the outside wall of my garage.
I've just contacted the McQuirter twins and Roy Castle via the ouija board and this appears to be a world record.

Although they did insist you must prove it.

Just get rid of the fxxxxxg cat....problem solved, either that or put your washing in a tumble dryer.

Useless animals, they only ever bother you when hungry, after that they sit on the back of the sofa staring at the wallpaper.

I'll not have one in this house, neither would the Westie or the Lab.

It was the bloke next door with a hose. Is there a specsavers near you?
I suggest you do some research and stop the personal attack.

Unless you have mountain Lions near your house or you live in a Zoo I suggest you stop posting nonsense .
Mention of the Zoo reminds me; that 'Zoo Poo' cat deterrent stuff doesn't work, I have had kittens piss right on it - and also go on peeing on my best and most expensive plants! Determined little bastards.

PS is quiet.
I am not online 24/7/365, I am afraid people on this thread have reached my not having a battle of wits with unarmed people limit.
In my near three score years and ten, I have been shat on, shat at, peed on and peed at by a large variety of domestic, farm, and wild animals and birds.
That my wide experience is not shared I will put down to the urbanisation of the population.

Also my wife and I do not own any pets.

I have been bitten by most of those as well PS but I still love the little rascals.

Cats are cool, they don't need to be looking at you all the time like a dog to know what you are doing. I have one old kitty, she is 19, still looks good but will not risk going outside without a human escort as she is past fighting age.

So what you are saying (but lack the honesty to actually say) is that you have no proof at all of a cat peeing 20 feet.

NEWS FLASH! - We all knew that anyway, you see we have far more wits than you imagine.

What I am stating is I am amazed at the pig ignorance on a wide range of subjects that makes them turn a simple request on this forum into yet another torrent of abuse towards me.

I just hope they are less than 20 feet from a cat should it decide to take a malicious squirt at them.

I scream eff Margaret Thatcher, and eff the Tories, for causing the demise of manufacturing industry.
I worked part time working with and handling animals from the age of nine until 29, which stopped when I moved to Cornwall.

Ok let's get one thing straight.

Asking for proof of your claims, and then lambasting you when you engage in goalpost moving and bluster, oh and insulting other members' intelligence, to avoid having to present that proof is NOT ABUSE.

Is that clear?

Nonsense. You can’t find it or you would post it.
Given the disbelieving ill informed people on this forum I mush prefer that they do their own research and then apologise.
(I would reference a video on how far a female can wee horizontally but I would be permanently barred from this forum.)

And specifically that "I would reference a video . . .but . . ." big fat lie

Now you are really lucky that another mod has got involved while I was out today as if I had got to your dribbling first then formal action would have been taken. I am just sick and tired of your lies and your general trolling.

Out of interest I've just Googled "animals urinating long distances" and "how far can piss travel", sadly I could find no mention of twenty foot long yellow and acrid streams however I did discover one very fascinating factoid, regardless of size mammals wee on average 21 seconds! Perhaps someone confused time with distance? :rubchin:

I find that to be a bit harsh, I honestly believe that Papa believes himself what he has claimed.

He seems to be of the opinion that if he were to post visual evidence of his claim, then he would be banned.

you have assured him he will not be banned from the forum.

However, there just maybe other visual sights in the video that might include other peoples property and location, I can understand that, but I am very intrigued as to what makes Papa think he will be banned.

FFS, if one so wished one could just go to you tube and find far worse examples of peeing.

^ this (well, most of it)

bottom line is he said he would be banned. I took that to be a direct dig to the way i (mis)run things and told him in this thread to knock himself out.

I see no video ...

and while entering the words "cat filing flaws image" into a google search bar brought back fifty versions of the above

entering "cat weeing twenty feet image" brought back only this

How far have other members actually witnessed tom cats squirt?

Myself I saw a farm tom with nuts like satsumas squirt piss at my tom cat(now deceased) from four feet away resulting in a direct hit. It started a nasty fight which I broke up to save my cat from serious injury.

I watched the same clip within the last hour trying to get to the bottom of this important topic, if the bush the cat was squirting on was not there I reckon that squirt had enough force to travel a few feet, the cat in the clip was not the most robust powerful cat and so I believe that a top tier alpha tom could reach a max squirt of around two meters

2 metres? 6 foot 6? :o

Sandy , my big ginger tom (7kgs) could only dream of such dizzy heights(lengths?) in a pissing competition

His tabby sister, Tina, wouldn't lower herself to such common comparisons
