Donald trump agrees that there was Russian interference in the election, but he says it did not influence the outcome of the election.

No influence on the outcome because he says so !jk! IMO he has exposed his Mr Smart Mouth immaturity.

OK, I get that Mr Trump has won the election.

As usual, conspiracy, fraud, lies and deception are spouted from the losing side's supporters.

But thousands in this country turn out on the streets to demonstrate against the democratically-elected President of another country?

Exactly, what do 'they' expect to happen?

That the USA will suddenly say, "Sorry, Trump ol' buddy, it seems some Brits don't like you or your likely policies in the future, so you'll have to resign"

Chances of that happening? errr... zero.

WE do not tell the USA how to do things.

My thoughts exactly Ranger. Totally and utterly pointless.

Quite so, it would seem to me that protesters protesting about something that they will have no impact upon have too much time on their hands and should direct their energies towards more deserving cases such as Africa and the Middle East and to some extent the far East.....and even then their protests will fall on deaf ears.

Do gooders.....

I shit em.

Libel and slander are types of defamation, and in the UK libel and slander laws are contained in the Defamation Act 1996.
Ever heard of the legal concept of fair comment?

Instead of quoting the law learn to understand it first, the latest amendments to defamation laws were made in 2013, this freedom resulted in senior judges being accused of being enemies of the people.........

How many more times do you have to be told that accusations are not proof. We could spend all day making up accusations about others if there were no laws to protect us and them. There is also a ninth commandment that thou shall no bear false witness against thy neighbour, and that goes back through the centuries as a sound principle of respect for each other

Why should so many of you want to do so? Why is it so important for some to put others down, especially those that have been legitimately successful in life? Who has the biggest problem ,the ones being accused or their accusers? If you have proof then present it to the right authorities, or print it in full and accept the consequences.
Why are you so opposed to people expressing their point of view?

What were you saying about 'funny how those of us who stick to debating the subject and not the poster don't seem to have any problems with the mods.'?
Our Mod thinks you are honest.
I was responding to an off topic personal attack on me (which you have ignored i notice) by pointing out the flaws in his argument, admittedly there was a sarcastic comment which I won't complain if I get a rap on the knuckles for.

Your post however contained nothing but an attack on me and the mods.

You responded 'in kind'.
Part of my explanatory posts made elsewhere were about 'response' which you there stated was not in your practice - it is!
The Mod did give you backing. I made no false criticism!

And btw your reply to me ADDS to the proof of what I said (there).
My 'attack' as you call it was done to verify that I was correct in what was said there. There was no motive to either insult or demean you - you were wrong to say I was wrong, is all!

Well there is clearly no attempt here to even pretend to debate the subject, so I will leave it there.

The most divisive US president in history, yes he is loved and liked by many, but bitterley detested and despised by even more people across the world, what possible message of hope, peace, compromise or trust does this send out. ?

Wherever Donald Trump goes, he will be followed by mass demonstrations and anger, it will happen if he visits this country, it will happen if he goes to continental Europe or Canada, and I suspect his security men will shit their pants if he ever suggests going to a Muslim country.

What kind of world leader is this ?

For common sense and for a decent, fair and balanced world we will have to look to the rest of the free world to keep Trump in check, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande, Justin Trudeau, our own Prime Minister and others, he needs to be politely and diplomatically reminded that he cannot do anything much without world co-operation.

He can do whatever he wants to do. Watch all the others stand behind like the lapdogs they are.

Because as their increasing debt (see chart) shows they're not self sufficient in money and he wants to spend more and tax his buddies less to make it worse.

America can print as many dollars as they like, because the majority of the world deal in dollars.Ever been abroad and tried to give a local a English pound or a yen note or a rouble . All people want is the dollar. When your money is a global phenomenan, you can be pretty much blasé in your printing.A lot more blasé than the majority of the world.

Well yes I have so tried and can confirm there are really only 3 international currencies. $, € and to a less extent the SF.

But the issue remains that if he prints money (should that be when he prints money?) the $ will fall and USA inflation will result. Even the $ can't defy gravity

Don't they understand that the dictatorial intellectual imposition of their own liberal ways has been a prim mover in Brexit , and in the Election of Trump, and the rise across Europe of the political right.?
There is more to come, and their lack of understanding of the human psyche and instincts of humans as a whole makes them their own worst enemies. Their imposed ultraism has run away from them and they have lost control of it.
People want their soul back
These are people who are so entrenched they will never learn Ty. Like you said,"Anyone with an ounce of sense would realise they brought all this on themselves with their Progressive, policies, their PC agenda, Their Kow towing to immigrants , their dilution of their own countries. Yet they still go on as though they are responsible for nothing.

The world clambering to get deals with the USA

Now why should he conform to everyone else. YOU TELL US ALL ? (can't wait for this )
The United States is Canada's major trade market for energy products and services. Canada sends around 98% of its total energy exports to the United States, meaning that Canada is the largest supplier of energy exports to the world's largest economy.

In 2015 the US imported nearly 8 million barells of crude oil per day ( 43% Canada, 14% Saudi Arabia, 11% Venezuala, 9% Mexico, 23% rest of the world )

Without American bases on British soil, the US defence system would basically colapse and cease to function.

The worlds largest electronic spy station and information gathering centre is at Menwith Hill near Harrogate, North Yorkshire which feeds information to a base in Maryland, one of two highly important electronic bases in North Yorkshire, the other been the Fylingdales Radar Station on the North York Moors.

The US base on Diego Garcia, part of the British Indian Ocean Territory is of vital strategic importance to the United States, playing key roles in offensive and defensive operations in the Middle East, Iraq and Afghanistan.

In 2014 the United States imported $2.4 Trillion worth of goods

The United States is as dependent on the rest of the world as what any nation is, and although it may be self sufficient in food, it is not self sufficient in the things to help to grow food, fertilisers for example.

Economically the United States is in decline, the EU is now a larger Consumer Market, China is going to not only overtake the United States, but by 2050 will be virtually double the size of the US economy, soon after this time India will push the United States into third place.

And the Chinese hold around 20% of Americas external debt in the form of treasury bonds, a very useful bargaining chip should Trump start a trade war.

Everything will be just fine until you manage to piss Trump off, sonehow. He's capricious, vindictive and he is capable of using his office to "punish" those who he doesn't like. Just do what you're told, Britons and everything will remain sunny for you.

Dunno where your storm clouds are but mine are clear.

So far all the doomy gloomy forecasts are the usual shite, and so are yours.

Still keep it up it has an amusement factor.
Everything will be just fine until you manage to piss Trump off, sonehow. He's capricious, vindictive and he is capable of using his office to "punish" those who he doesn't like. Just do what you're told, Britons and everything will remain sunny for you.
Well ever sat back and thought about it have you ?

You lot created him...And on behalf of the millions upon millions WE THANK YOU !jk!

Best just to ignore you and your ilk.Because if it rains tomorrow you will blame Brexit

PS If I were you ,I would try eating some humble pie.Swallow your arrogant pride and admit you got it wrong. As recent events are proving
What have I got wrong? I've certainly made no predictions about election results, just the coming effects of idiots voting against the elites but then electing more of them!

And apparently a dozen banks, at least three car makers and even a train maker are now keeping an eye on the weather, you never know all of Rolls Royce might be German one day. ;-)

We've been threatened with stuff like that before, and even the Canucks, ANZACS and others came to our defence.

I don't think we have any beef with Canada or others, nor do we with Trump, at least unless he deliberately does anything to hurt us.

Until then we have the same hopes and fears for trading relations as any other nation with the US.

My own feeling is that we have more in common with him than Obama

It must be nice being so close to the action but also a safe distance away! ;D

It'll be interesting to see how Trump reacts when certain foreign nations say thanks but no thanks Mr Trump.

Oh look, someone's mentioned the war again! ;D

We no longer live in the 30's got that? If anything it's the US and UK heading down the path of intolerant right wing nationalism, not the usual suspects.

Interesting that you have the delusion of some nations saying 'no' to Trump (USA)

And you wonder why some of us feel you need to 'get real', ah well, ignorance is bliss I suppose.

Time for some factual medicine! Do you keep abreast of current affairs?

The Chinese especially have been issuing blunt warnings at Davos this very week (nothing to do with Doctor Who) telling Trump that a trade war will benefit no one, something about locking everyone out and not getting any light? Google it and educate yourself!

You just miss the point rather than no point being there

The UK protests are all about discouraging Theresa May rushing into agreeing some idiot temporary deal with Trump in order to shore up her 'make Brexit a success' mantra. She's forgotten that Trump got elected by promising to tear up any trade deal that in any way turns out to benefit the other country.

Perhaps she might remember the disaster that occurred the last time a prime minister rushed to do deals with a new US president and we ended up with the Horlicks that Iraq became.

Maybe so, but the chinese have a lot to lose potentially, or did you conveniently overlook that FACT ?

Express away, and exercise your rights to free speech, but why does it always have to be personal? As with netiicet attack the post not the poster , not the politician, but the policies.
