I like that...the hard left don't give a stuff abut the Queen unless it supports the argument to say how upset she will be during Trumps visit. She doesn't even decide who is coming.......shes just got to polish the crockery and put on a tiara.

Well if Trump is serious about getting jobs back to America he could do a lot worse than start questioning the morals of most of those in that list you put up.
You think Trump has morals? Politicians?......morals?......do behave.

Oh and a few years back on shock jock Howard Sterns show Trump claimed he could have "nailed" Princess Di, more recently he made some disrespectful references about making money out of Kate Middletons topless photo's. Should make for some interesting conversation in the royal carriage!
From yesterdays hideously hard left Metro that only sells to Islington based luvvies, apparently.

Does anyone else not see the irony in the petitioners wanting to ban someone from visiting their country because he banned people visiting his?

Evening standard (also free) has a better crossword imo The Express has a better headline today, Trump is planning a nuclear attack on China and Russia!
Naturally disappointment soon sets in if you manage to get past the headline. (Take note Swindon.)

The triumphant Trump effect. If he has made so many enemies on the left he must be doing something right.
The Queen is not happy either, and did you hear Prince Charles this afternoon with his not very subtle rebuke of Trump's policies? Who do these people think they are? We need a republic. Anyway the protocol, according to a palace flunky, is for the government to consult the Queen BEFORE a state visit is approved as the monarch has some say in the arrangements, but it appears she was not consulted and only heard about it from palace staff! Anyone got a phone number so that I can complain on behalf of poor old Brenda who has been left in the lurch by May and Co? Has she told you, she's not happy then.Very impressive, access to the palace now have you ?
Listen, the queen will welcome him if she thinks she can make a few bob out of it

And the Queen making a few bob out of it?

We know that thank you. Like I said when you take away the dead, the illegals, voters registered in 2 states,I think that will even it out.Have your day in court so to speak,it will fade away and die just like the rest of them.Remember the marches again'st the Iraq war over here and in America, nothing ever come of it.If a few screaming lefties think they can overthrow the POTUS think again, one word from Trump and you will have the 60 odd million gun toting real Americans out.As you know they don't just scream and shout or look for their safe spaces. He is going nowhere get used to it.Remember the tea party demos,I got news for you, they aint gone away
Yes I've heard similar claims of voting irregularities from Trump as well. Not seen a single shred of evidence to support this claim so far though. More alternative facts? Or lies as they call round our way. HaHa the new call of the left now hey "Alternative facts " I suppose it's better than "Hitler,Nazi" etc. Got news for you, your left buddies have been living of alternative facts for years, only they were called opinions.
Give the man a chance,he has been in office a week, give us a break.
Don't take trump supporters silence, for weakness. It would be a major tactical mistake on the left
The minute one trump supporter is killed in any of these protests, especially by those "Black lives matter".Well you ain't seen nothing yet,as the saying goes.Remember don't take silence as a weakness

The Americans had their vote and we must respect their voting methodology, he has been invited here for a full state visit and imo that should go ahead, those that disagree should keep away and not embarrass the Queen and government by staging anti Trump protests that will amount to nothing.
Is the most democratic country in the world (UK) that has actively involved itself in regime change in the Eastern hemisphere now trying to effect regime change in the USA?......the most trusted ally we could ever have?
It takes my breath away.
This country has done business with bigger monsters than Donald Trump.

Goebbels and Goring are no longer available.
Here we go again,Goebells,Goering,Hitler,Eichmann give it a rest.Have you nothing new or constructive to add ? Is it just a mantra you on the left are taught as babies and instilled into you to just shout out the words automatically that come into your subconscious. It is only a talking point from one leftie to another leftie,so you can pat each other on the back telling yourselves the world agrees with you. My God! The anger! The bile! The lashing out!
You must be a Trumpian!
'Malignant narcisissm': Donald Trump displays classic traits of mental illness, claim psychologists. by Rachel Hosie
Spoiler: click to toggle Hillary Clinton claimed Trump was “temperamentally unfit” to be President, and in recent months many people the world over have reached the same conclusion. Clinton was, of course, Trump’s political opponent, but according to psychologists, the new US President really is mentally ill. Until recently, it was illegal for psychologists to assess public figures and talk to journalists about their findings. But this rule has now changed, and mental health experts are finally speaking out about Trump. In a bid to warn the public, psychologists are publishing their diagnoses of Trump in hordes. Most recently, top psychotherapist John D. Gartner said Trump “is dangerously mentally ill and temperamentally incapable of being president.”
Obama says Trump’s temperament will not serve him well. He believes Trump shows signs of “malignant narcissism,” which is defined as a mix of narcissism, antisocial personality disorder, aggression and sadism in Campbells’ Psychiatric Dictionary. Narcissism is in fact one of the most common diagnoses of Trump from psychologists: “Narcissism impairs his ability to see reality so you can't use logic to persuade someone like that,” clinical psychologist Dr. Julie Futrell told NY Daily News. “Three million women marching? Doesn't move him. Advisers point out that a policy choice didn't work? He won't care.” Just after the election, a group called Citizen Therapists Against Trumpism was created, which was joined by thousands of psychologists. They published a manifesto warning of Trump’s psychosis, citing the following as the signs to fear: “Scapegoating and banishing groups of people who are seen as threats, including immigrants and religious minorities; degrading, ridiculing, and demeaning rivals and critics; fostering a cult of the Strong Man who appeals to fear and anger; promises to solve our problems if we just trust in him; reinvents history and has little concern for truth (and) sees no need for rational persuasion.”
The American Psychiatry Association has a nine-point checklist for narcissism - if someone displays just five of the traits has Narcissistic Personality Disorder: 1.Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognised as superior without commensurate achievements). 2.Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love. 3.Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions). 4.Requires excessive admiration. 5.Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favourable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations. 6.Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends. 7.Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognise or identify with the feelings and needs of others. 8.Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her. 9.Shows arrogant, haughty behaviours or attitudes. Even Trump’s most ardent supporters might struggle to deny the President displays at least five of those characteristics.
Misogynists more likely to be mentally ill, study shows Through numerous interviews and his infamous tweeting sprees, it seems Trump only believes facts that praise him - anything else is ‘fake news’ in his eyes. And according to psychologists, this pathological disconnection from reality is dangerous. He surrounds himself with people who admire and applaud him, and goes on angry tirades against journalists who enrage him by daring to suggest anything negative about him. Trump’s team will only tell him what he wants to hear, thus pandering to his narcissistic and sociopathic ways. “With Trump, he's a disturbed person who protects himself by building up his ego and tearing down others,” an anonymous psychologist explained to the NY Daily News. For a “severe narcissist” like the President, the need to maintain the self-image is so great that he “bends reality to fulfill whatever fantasy about power, wealth, beauty, etc. he maintains” Futrell added. The Citizen Therapists’ manifesto believes Trump’s egotistical ways are creating “the illusion that real Americans can only become winners if others become losers.” “Simply stated, Trumpism is inconsistent with emotionally healthy living.” As more psychologists speak out, the more worrying the situation appears."

There has been plenty of talk from Trump and his supporters about voting irregularities. What there has been a complete absence of is evidence to support their claims.
Still waiting.

My God! The anger! The bile! The lashing out! You must be a Trumpian! ' Malignant narcisissm': Donald Trump displays classic traits of mental illness, claim psychologists. by Rachel Hosie Spoiler: click to toggle Hillary Clinton claimed Trump was “temperamentally unfit” to be President, and in recent months many people the world over have reached the same conclusion.

It would be a major tactical mistake on the left The minute one trump supporter is killed in any of these protests, especially by those "Black lives matter".Well you ain't seen nothing yet,as the saying goes.Remember don't take silence as a weakness
The now president Trump gave a clear indication of what he would do if he became elected as the leader of the most powerful nation in the world, he was subsequently duly elected into office upon that very platform. There is little doubt that article 50 will be activated within a month of two, a clear indication that we will leave the EU. All that will matter then is that we get the best deal available for ourselves. Forget Trump the person and concentrate on Trump the President, who is currently well disposed towards the UK and can be useful to help us in the negotiations.
Keep up the bad mouthing and the pejorative language, and your harming the best longer term interests of the UK., and by implication yourselves your families and their long term interests.,and may even be harming them.
Diplomacy is the profession, activity, or skill of managing international relations.

The Tories are incapable of making a trade deal with Trump that will be of advantage to Britain, especially if any deal has an Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) clause in it. Does anyone else not see the irony in the petitioners wanting to ban someone from visiting their country because he banned people visiting his? I think it goes somewhat deeper than that.

Quite, the offensive comments Trump has come out with, would not make him welcome anyway. Again it has to be said 'TO SOME' Being a pragmatist at heart, a natural appeaser and compromiser for our best interests, a state visit from him with all its pageantry would be beneficial to our tourist industry, and anything that is to the benefit of our county and balance of payments is welcome. Those that see it otherwise can just go and shoot themselves in the foot and hobble around shouting invectives at him and the USA o feel good bout themselves.

That remains to be seen Papa. The track record of those people speaks for itself. The Tories are far to naïve to negotiate with that nasty shower pulling the strings as "advisors."

Is the Queen your Queen to be so concerned about her? Why not just write to her, tell her of your loyalty to her and the UK and express your concerns and get a reply to keep for posterity. This tells you how to and where to write to.

That remains to be seen, for so many of the claimed negatives and doom laden expectations and prophecies have turned out to be positives since Brexit.

I repeat. That remains to be seen, You can repeat it as much as you like. The Tories are no match for that shower, or the legal eagles they employ. Britain will be shafted by that lot in any trade agreement.

These Conservatives have taken 'plausible deniability' to an Art form.
It gives another opportunity to remark that Minsters actually employ people at tax payers expense for this purpose of escaping accountability - re J Hunt and his Aide's (Adam Smith) covert contacts (against the rules - law possibly - for ministerial conduct) with R Murdoch.

I've also noticed that the right's passion for freedom of speech seems to have cooled considerably of late. Wonder why? If it is the case it is because it is being abused, and being used to disrespect their opponents. So much of it is close to being slanderous. You can have your free speech, I commend it warts and all but does it always have to be discourteous and bad mannered and seeking to offend? By your words will you be known, by your works will you be judged.

They have both been getting signatures at a roughly matching rate with the No State Visit poll leading the Yes one by about 1.55 million votes. Of course if they continue that way the No:Yes ratio (currently 8:1) will decline.
PS you'll get over it

What a brilliant response from May today during PMQs to Corbyn over 1.8m people signing a petition "banning trump " Corbyn wanted to know what she was going to do.She said,
"He may lead a protest,BUT I LEAD A COUNTRY." What a fantastic response/put down to an arsehole (Worthy of St Maggie herself) He asked for assurance that NHS was not for privatizing in a US/UK trade deal:
MAY : "The NHS is not for sale"
