Donald trump agrees that there was Russian interference in the election, but he says it did not influence the outcome of the election.

No influence on the outcome because he says so !jk! IMO he has exposed his Mr Smart Mouth immaturity.

I've got no problem with engagement, but one can engage without a state visit.
So going by your mindset,if has Ty has posted LE PEN and WILDERS where elected in their countries you would ban them to.So that would be the French, the dutch, and the Americans all on a ban hey ?

At that rate the only ones you will be talking to are N.Korea and China, keep up the good work, hey
I wouldn't want a state visit for any of those you have listed.

You must have a guilty conscience then thinking the world is accusing you ;D
Doesn't bother me in the slightest, unlike poor snowflake Trump I don't lose my sh1t over people saying unflattering things about me.

I just have a preference for debating with people who have a bit of integrity that's all.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep sure that you unelected Prime Minister
No, but the Conservative Party does and you in turn vote for the Conservative Party (or not) . The Prime Minister is there because she has been voted, there by her party ... just not voted there by the general public.
One can only vote for a local constituency MP who may or may not represent a party- one has no votes outside the constituency in which you are registered

Unless one lives in the specific constituency where a putative MP who happens to be party leader is standing for election there is NO vote for a potential PM, never has been

No-one is ever ''elected'' to be PM at a general election

More things are put right with patience ,good will, and open and fair discussion in looking for the best solutions. You need to take as many people as possible with you, not keep looking to solve matters with force violence and revolution which invariably leaves one with enemies.
Whatever........... !(0)!

All Governments rule by force, what do you think laws are ?

Rubbish, rule is by consent, unless you live in places like Russia or Saudi Arabia for example.

I welcome state visits from any Nation irrespective of their ideology. It is far better to engage with them verbally than with weapons of war. Mutual respect for the office held and through the office to the country they represent, and for each other, is essential to world peace.

I know that many use such a visit for their own propaganda purpose, and to enhance their own trade and position in the world, but that has been the practice through time.
I wonder if we can get Assad to visit, or Kim Jong-Il ? Jaw jaw is always better than war.
In a years time like Article 50 we will have other things to complain about.

Perhaps Le Pen will be elected in France and Geert-Wilders in Holland and we can then invite them to the HOC.

That really would give our left wing posters the vapors. !jk!
I've got no problem with engagement, but one can engage without a state visit.
Its all part and parcel of international meetings and association, You set the agenda for all and practice what is decided for all, not on your own terms.
If you want to hold the high ground you set the right examples. To be objective you have to set your own emotions aside.

There are many TV programmes about the Indian railways which were built by the British and about the tea plantations they left and so much more Look it up for yourself.
If you spent a little bit more of your time looking for the good , and a bit less looking for the bad, you might be happier in your life.

Well to be clear he has the same morals as a despot and would be one if he could

He believes in lying to gain office, undermining the judiciary when in office and the use of torture and extra judicial killings as being just fine

Sure sounds like someone who aspires to be 'a ruler or other person who holds absolute power, typically one who exercises it in a cruel or oppressive way.'

ALL GOVERNMENTS RULE BY FORCE

Prove it then!
Lets take just one example.

POLL TAX - Although most of the country was again'st it,it was brought in.It doesn't matter what government brought it in for the benefit of this debate.

If you don't pay you get punished, simple. thereby forcing people to pay up,not of their own free will. When you are forced to do anything again'st your free will with the threat of force and punishment hanging over it,that is FORCE.

The above is a minor point.

Anyone or anything that offers punishment for not obeying is using the law as force.Every law is a force for you to comply.

You could use the same analogy to children. You create rules for them when growing up,if they break those rules there will be consequences.

Technically you are forcing those children/electorate to do what you want.

BTW I amnot aain'st it I believe in laws before you start mouthing I want a lawless society. In fact I would go further than you on punishment.

I am just saying, governments rule by force

I'm not going over the millions who starved to death due to wilful neglect, again, nor the mutinies, civil unrest and political turmoil.

Ironically you've rather proved the point that some folks are utterly incapable of seeing anything but their own narrow and highly subjective POV!
Your still smarting over your own families colonial past. Your still shackled by it and need to get over it.

Breaking the law results in sanctions. Sanctions are an exercise in force.
That is all I am saying,"that every government rules by force" but yours truly as usual tries to claim the higher ground.

Sometimes I think yours truly (you know who I mean) should really THINK about what people are actually saying instead of jumping in with both feet.again'st highly informed individuals. :P (waiting for the flak)

Of course no one wants "to ban everyone who disagrees"

But most intelligent people would think that we shouldn't give lying, bigoted, misogynistic, arrogant would be despots the highest respect.
Your not respecting the man, your respecting the office he holds. Ban the man and you disrespect the office and all those that voted for him. Why make enemies when a friend in need is a friend indeed,
Who said "ban the man"?

Not I, not sure anyone did

And of course many refused to pay it, especially in Scotland that got to try it out first, and of course there were riots and protests, and do you know why?

Because millions of people took away the CONSENT to have this forced upon them!

The Poll Tax was killed off shortly afterwards.

I have no colonial past in my family and I'm probably more English than you by blood, before you imply otherwise.

I like the truth, not some Barbera Cartlandesque rose tinted view of history............

It is totally irrelevant to the argument.People are jailed/punished for not paying. That is the whole point I am making,I can't see where your argument is coming from :banghead:
