Donald trump agrees that there was Russian interference in the election, but he says it did not influence the outcome of the election. No influence on the outcome because he says so IMO he has exposed his Mr Smart Mouth immaturity.

Trump is still extremely popular among his 36% following. They are "true believers" apparently and, so far, unmoveable. The scary part is that they remain so through thick or thin and if Trump ends up impeached (or worse) they will defend him.The US is sufficiently unhinged, right now that they may REALLY defend him. Dangerously divided ... that is what America is, currently. |

Sadly so true. But when the healthcare starts to dry up he'll be really in trouble. |

Their inability to provide some sort of proper public health care, as every other developed Western nation has is an ominous measure of their collective incompetence. The only "collective" part of their society that runs smoothly is the US military and that is constantly oiled by an unbelievably huge amount of money. They will likely never have "public" health care, either as the private insurers stand to make literally trillions of dollars on profit from restricting the access to care for the poor third of the population. That oligopoly is in control and there to stay. |

Trump reminds me of Mussolini. By the way, it took an Allied invasion of Sicily to un-seat Mussolini and Italy was a comparative weakling. |

"Winner" Trump's healthcare reform bill has bern defeated in the Senate, thanks in no small part to John McCain. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40750071 I wonder if Trump, who has never served in the military, is regretting mocking McCain for getting captured whilst fighting for his country? My guess is probably not, I'm sure this will all be someone else's fault. |

Eight months ago, Trump was publically calling McCain a "loser" because he had allowed himself to be captured by the North Vietnamese. The hens have come home to roost. |

Yes, even if one leaves aside the questions that such a disgusting slur raises over the character of Trump, politically it was a very dumb move as has now become clear. |

Yes thank goodness Hilary didn't win otherwise we would have a president carrying the whiff of corruption and having to hire lawyers and look into the possibility of pardoning themselves. How farcical would that have been eh? |

I did not see who said it, because I was not looking at the TV screen, someone with an American accent on Channel 4 News a few minutes ago said Trump is "rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

I remember the thousands of tax payers dollars spent by the children of the right as they ignored their remit to look into some of the dealings by President Clinton and just rooted around for anything they could possibly get him on. Typical immature right-wing crapology as far as I'm concerned. So be warned Hillary, if you don't change your knickers at least twice a day, they will have you. |

----"It seems"---- Oh! fancy that, on Fox News, by a legal adviser to Fox News. I would expect this to turn out to be yet another childish attempt by immature rightists to distort reality by, 1. A PLEASE find something to undermine Hillary inquiry. 2. So that we can take some of the headlines off the Trump / Russian investigation. And maybe, if we throw enough mud the electorate will come to believe that Hillary is as bad as Trump may turn out to be. |

With a mountain of evidence against Hillary, it should all be over in a matter of weeks. Now if the months roll by, as I suspect they will, it will become clear that it's all about throwing mud, and helping those who are reduced to using the word "Killary" to feel a little better. |

They seem a colourful bunch compared to Mrs May and JC and co, I really enjoyed both the American and French elections far more than ours. I know it's mud slinging from both sides but Killary is Killary because of all the suspicious deaths around the Clintons. Did you hear the one about Trump family being time travelers? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Baron-Trumps-Marvelous-Underground-Journey/dp/1564599507 |

Meanwhile Trump's right-wing credentials seems to be paying off in terms of riots in the States. He has been criticised condemning the violence but not mentioning the fact that it was right-wing extremists that resorted to violence. |

Trump can't explicitly condemn right wing extremists because it undermines his crass, simplistic, four legs good two legs bad philiosphy. Namely: PC, liberalism, left wing = source of all problems Right wing politics/policies = solution to all problems. You see that attitude and vice versa here and elsewhere on the internet every day but its very troubling that the leader of the free world seems to have such a blinkered view of the world. Consider for a moment how the right would react if it was Islamic extremists who were responsible for these latest violent disturbances and tragic death and a Democrat President failed to explicitly condemn said Islamic extremists. |
