Donald trump agrees that there was Russian interference in the election, but he says it did not influence the outcome of the election.

No influence on the outcome because he says so !jk! IMO he has exposed his Mr Smart Mouth immaturity.

Whats up with the players? What are they protesting about?
OK had a read and watched this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTUC_KEsrSA

Looks like a lot of Americans are with Trump on this.
I think it's somewhat hypocritical for Trump, who has complained about PC stifling free speech, saying he would like to see people lose their jobs for making a political statement.

But hey, he's a politician, hypocrisy is in his DNA.

And yet more and more players are taking the knee, and a Franchise Owner (who is a Trump supporter) joined his team.

Has anyone understood how this kneeling during the NA originated?

So to sum up, Trump is fine with neo-nazi and KKK protest marches but is incensed by football players kneeling in protest against racial inequality.

Make of that what you will.

Trump should really have kept his nose out but instead he stirred the pot, now you have the normally politically apathetic NFL fans all pissed off but they are with Trump on this not the players because gold star families, if you wont get off your knees for them and the flag then you are the enemy.

Trump has won them over.
He is winning.

Lots of people objected to the civil rights protests as well. Ditto the suffragettes. Time will tell.

I'm pretty sure the Tories are doing the same. And using secure phone networks.
The Leverson Inquiry forced them to become clandestine ..... or rather more self protective, of how they operated their self serving deals etc.

I do like to see wrongdoing brought to the public notice, but only as long as the the argument is balanced.

The Yanks have gone goony over their flag as usual and some of them are equating kneeling during the national anthem at an NFL game with disrespecting the soldiers that died on Omaha Beach on D-Day.

It's worth a hell of a lot more than tweets from a compulsively lying con-man. I'd say that Tillerson is afraid of Trump... either that or loyal to the bitter end.

Nope :nono: and your allegation of a porkie pie is a lie in itself. Bad form Delf

Perhaps you can find a link to Tillerson denying it to back your post because the whole point behind this story is Tillerson has declined to deny he called Trump a moron.

And no a link to Trump's tweet where Trump makes up a false story that Tillerson denies it won't do

One of the horrible outcomes of the Trump era is that, not only will traditional news outlets be believed anymore, any nutbar with a wing-nut conspiracy theory now has an audience and a following. I see both of these phenomena as serious and immediate threats to the continuation of democracy (as flawed as it may be).

That just parrots the original NBC report that he's refusing to deny he called him a moron

Latest overnight update here: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/tillerson-summoned-white-house-amid-presidential-fury-n808216

Quote:

Tillerson delivered a statement praising Trump and insisting he never considered resigning, but it’s what he didn’t say that further enraged Trump, officials said.

The secretary’s refusal to deny that he had called the president a “moron” in his opening statement and in his responses to questions from reporters stoked Trump’s anger and widened the rift between the two men, officials said.

After watching the secretary’s response Wednesday, one White House official said, “When Tillerson didn’t deny it, I assumed it was true.

The two issues are closely related. Calm before Storm is all about Iran and it's his idiot attitude on Iran that got Tillerson calling Trump a moron. It's looking like Trump will fire Tillerson so he can go and provoke iran

Air strikes, sudden strikes, pre-emptive strikes against ghost arsenals of WMDs has become the default method of lifting Presidential support out of sewer system lows.No matter how ridiculous the call for war is, the Americans get four-square behind their President in times of war. Will it be Iran? Will it be North Korea? ... or Mexico? ... or Canada? I doesn't really matter. It's all about Trump and Trump needs to win a little war, right now.

Bit of a nightmare day for Trump

Arrests, charges and even a guilty plea in his team and his unpopularity reaches a new high as he twats away on twitter Posted Image

In case you're reading Donald and don't understand why, it's because you've been found out for the self centred lying git you've always been.

Oh and impeachment isn't a Southern cocktail, the prospect gets more likely every day

We'll see what sort of song Manafort and Gates sing after the White House makes it crystal clear that they're being thrown underneath the Transit van. Manafort is faced with the prospect of spending most or all of the rest of his life behind bars (he's sixty eight) if he "takes a bullet" for a lying con-man President. He's a natural to cop a plea deal so that he can play with his grandchildren in his dotage. I sincerely doubt that a bully like Trump is going to command much loyalty from people whom he cannot hurt any further.

Would you take a fall for a piece of shyte like Trump?

I doubt that many will.

Gents come on now Trump is in the clear as things stand so far.
1) Manafort's alleged crimes happened years before he worked for the Trump campaign.
2) At the first sign of Manafort's Ukrainian impropriety, Trump fired him.
3) The charges reveal no evidence of any Russian "collusion" in the election. Muellers got nothing on that.

"Round one" and it's all over? The investigators are just getting started. What they arenarresting at this point is witnesses to the next round of arrests. This will all reach Trump, sooner or later.

Maybe and maybe the investigation will result in a very different outcome from the one you are hoping for presuming it does not collapse altogether.
