INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the X-Treme Championship battles, here is where your star can get hardcore and x-treme in their pursuit to gain possession of the X-Treme Championship, the companies most violent and blood-thirsty prize. But be forewarned, upon deciding to go after the title you need to remember that once you win the title you are going to have all comers wanting to gain possession of your championship, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you better be prepared to work your ass off to keep the title.

HOW THIS WORKS

To be eligible to take part in the X-Treme Championship battles you must be signed to the UWF, if you are a new star to the federation you need to make sure a member of the E-Fed Staff has accepted your character before you can join in on the battles because, until that is done, you are not a part of the UWF.

To join the battles simply enter into the battle thread and post a short RP, it doesn't have to be long, doesn't have to be detailed, you simply need to set up the pinfall situation. To achieve this it is quite simple, simply write in your character entering the scene, have your character beat down the champion to the point you think he can be pinned and then go for the pinfall, upon going for the pinfall you need to write down a two count for the pinfall, in 3 hours time you can post the three count, the champion has 3 hours to break out of your pinfall, if they do you must start again.

All times are based around the GMT timezone (the forums default timezone) besides a portion of the title history (based around the timezone of The Bearded Avenger who is essentially the moderator for the X-Treme Championship battles, although he doesn't have moderating permissions). It really doesn't matter what timezone you are in as three hours is still three hours, just come back three hours after your post to make the three count or check in every once in a while to see if the cham, pion has kicked out. Just be weary that we do things in the fed based around the forum's default timexone (GMT).

At times the X-Treme Championship battles may be closed, this is usually because the championship will be defended at a UWF event that weekend. The battle thread is usually closed on a Friday to give the current champion the weekend to RP for their match. Battles are usually re-opened once the show is posted (usually Monday)

A LITTLE HISTORY

The X-Treme Championship made it's official debut at UWF's biggest pay-per-view of the year, WrestleFest (now renamed The Ultimate Showdown). The title however was within the company ever since the first few weeks of it's existence. The championship made it's first appearance, unknown to the viewers, inside a bloody soaked bag in which Chase Sevenfold carried with him everywhere. A feud began between both Chase Sevenfold and Crazyman and eventually led to Crazyman becoming interested in gaining possession of the blood soaked bag to find out what was inside. A crazy thought? Perhaps, why would you want to gain possession of a blood soaked bag, let alone want to know what is inside it.

The two squared off at UWF's first ever pay-per-view event, One Way Road (now renamed Cross Roads), they squared off in a First Blood Match with the blood soaked bag hanging in the balance. Crazyman was unsuccessful in his efforts to gain possession of the blood soaked bag, but was still intent on gaining possession of it. For the next few weeks both men traded words, including Crazyman letting everyone know his intentions were still to gain possession of the blood soaked bag. Chase Sevenfold warned Crazyman hat what was inside the blood soaked bag was something Crazyman didn't want to reveal, it was something Crazyman didn't want to unleash amongst the UWF roster because it would change the roster forever. This sparks the question, why did Chase Sevenfold carry the blood soaked bag around with him if unleashing it's contents would be nightmarish for the UWF roster? Chase Sevenfold was always crazy, always had a screw loose.

The two ended up squaring off at WrestleFest inside the Ultimate Cell in an epic battle that will be remembered for years to come. Crazyman was successful in his efforts to gain possession of the blood soaked bag, he reached inside that bag and pulled out the championship, blood dribbled down the championship belt, the blood ran over the championship belts nameplate as the camera was zoomed in on the prize and revealed it to be the X-Treme Championship, the UWF's newest championship, a belt that would change the course of the UWF forever.

An hour or so later cameras cut back to Crazyman in an alleyway, assumingly outside the arena that night. There Crazyman grabbed the X-Treme Championship and dumped it in the trash, stating his efforts had been pointless and that he was better than a championship such as the X-Treme Championship. This lead to the championship being vacated that very night.

The championship remained vacated until Seven Deadly Sins the following month. JD Nitro, the Co-General of Underground at the time, announced some weeks before Seven Deadly Sins that the title would be on the line in a special gauntlet style match known as the Carnage Rules Match which would involve six other stars. The rules of the match were quite simple, two men would start in the ring, these two stars were considered unlucky as the other four stars had the advantage to decide when they came down to the ring to fight during the match. The wrestler could come down to the ring at any time; to capitalise on fallen opponents, to capitalise on a perfect opportunity, to break up a pinfall or submission, whatever it took to help their chances of winning the match. However, once a wrestler had decided to take that step and enter the match they could not go back foir a second chance, once they were a part of the match they were there for the duration of the match. The winner of the match would be the first to get a pinfall.

CF Schulze was the first to win the Carnage Rules Match and win the vacated X-Treme Championship, however this did not come without a catch. JD Nitro came out to the ring after the Carnage Rules Match and announced the X-Treme Championship would now be contended under 24-7 rules for now on. CF Schulze didn't hold the championship for much longer after those rules were put into place.

RULES

- You must make the three count, if the three hour time period exceeds and the champion kicks out and you haven't made the three count then bad luck, your loss.

- You cannot allow other people to use your forum account to make sure you are on to break up the pinfall. Forum rules state you mustn't allow others to use your account. If we see you are letting others use your account to break up pinfalls and using that to have an advantage in the battles you will be banned from the battles permanently. Admins have the ability to find these things out, so don't even bother because we will catch you.

- Because this is an in-character topic, when posting out of character you must use the correct methods and post 'OOC:' before your out of character post. It's standard e-fed rules which you will find in the UWF's rules.

- Keep RPs realistic; we don't want to see people shooting other people or blowing them up or something so insane and unrealistic as that, if we do see it it won't count, so please keep it somewhat realistic.
