Place: Ocean Beach, San Francisco, Ca

Time: 11AM

Date: Aug. 14th 2012

Outfit: My outfit , ***again, not Dichen but this is Kaila Yu who I used an avatar last year.

Background Music (on the radio next to her): "It a long way to the top.." - ACDC

(Camera fades from black to a scene of a long sandy shore overlooking the ocean. The day is beautiful, with no clouds in the sky and a light breeze. The camera pans around and we see in the distance a couple of buildings hanging on the cliff side and a roadway/expressway going up to it and going past it. Possibly the Cliff House Restaurant which overlooks Ocean Beach along the Great Coast Highway which is a main thoroughfare along the coast in San Francisco, Ca. There are many people on the beach as people are getting their last day kicks in before school starts. A few people are walking the beach either together or with dogs, out in the ocean are surfers catching waves and beyond them a few kite surfers catch the wind and surf “over” the waves. Every couple of yards are beach blankets with moms and kids playing in the sand or just laying around. An ocean oil tanker slowly drifts out to see in the distance. The camera pans around and pans backward and focuses in on a lone person sitting on a blanket near the cement wall separating the Great Coast Highway with Ocean Beach. It is Vespertine and she sits on a blanket and has a bag and backpack sitting on the towel next to her. She sits cross legged and has in her lap a netpad and is currently looking up something. When the camera gets closer to her, she looks up and smiles and addresses the camera)

V: So my next match in, I face a “veteran” of sorts (she airquotes) in one man named Jamie O Hara. He has only been in this federation, UWF, since April. That is, like, 6 months before I even joined. Wow! Bravo my sweet, bravo! You couldn’t impress me more if you tried. Except you don’t impress me.

(she holds up a piece of paper and opens up the lid of a laptop that is sitting right next to her.)

V: What this “airhead” is doing right now is my homework. I got lots to study and catch up on. I’m studying up on my next opponent, that being you, Jamie. Bio, win/loss record, moves, skills, talents, mic skills, and yes on here (she indicates the laptop) I even found your wiki page. I think if you look at yourself and you look at me, you are going to find, that we are the same in every way. Except…. I’ve been in this business way longer than you have. I have held more titles than you. And you, just got lucky at Ultimate Showdown. In matches like that, it doesn’t take skill or talent, it takes being in the right place at the right time. And now I can say I have done a match like that.

(she rubs her shoulders and the small of her back and winces in pain as she prods around there.)

V: I think I can also safely say I’m never doing a match like that again. So congrats O Hara, you won the Money in the Bank Match. Use it well. I doubt you will. But use it well.

(she rings her neck and cracks it and we hear a sort of popping noise coming from there. She groans and then lowers her shoulders in pain and then smiles at the camera)

V: Signs of a good battle. Signs that you are willing to go through hell to try and get what you want. But now getting back to you. The amount of time you been in the ring, is not even equal to the amount of time I have spent winning titles and losing titles. You say you are phenomenal, right? I say you are ordinary. I mean take a look at the list of titles you have gained in your “career” if you can call it that. I think, to you, this “career” is just a job. But let’s look, shall we:

(she sets the netpad down on her lap and punches buttons)

V: Says here that your history, my sweet, goes as far back as to the SOW which is the Society of Wrestling. There you won the hardcore championship and the World Championship. Just two titles. Out of how many? Like 5 or 6. You don’t really dominate a federation until you can say you have held all the titles at least once. But wait there is more!

(she looks at the laptop again)

V: You then went to Revolution X federation where you didn’t win any titles whatsoever and lost almost all your feuds. O…M….G! Anyway in April of 2012, you came back to the UWF where you started your career and in the UWF, both runs, you became the No Limits Champion, the Brawl for All Champion and the World Champion. 3 Titles. Well 4 if you count the one you gave yourself: Mr. UWF 2010. Wow! Really, Really? Mr. UWF 2010. I’m sorry, is there any reason in there for me to be impressed by you. There are, what, like 5 or 6 titles in UWF and in your two runs here, you have only managed to gain 3 of them. Go back to training, little man and step aside for me. Now these are the titles I have held since I debuted in my career back in 2005.

(she punches a few buttons on the laptop and then does a few scrolls and when she is finished she looks up.)

V: Federations, I have been in: 4, 5. Titles I have held: Pure Star Champion for World Turmoil Federation which is their version of the Ladies Title. Women’s Champion for the International Intensity Wrestling federation. Not impressed yet? Oh wait. There’s more. Going on to Virtual Championship Wrestling Federation, the titles I gained there were the hardcore title, the Light Heavyweight Title, the Tag Team Title, and the World Heavyweight Title. Like you, Mr. UWF 2010, I was named the 2009 Battlegrounds Winner AND I was that federations first ever female double champion. Looking over at your list.

(she looks down at her laptop, then looks up)

V: Oh that’s right. You have only been in this business since 2009, 3 years. Pffff whatever. And your title reigns end. Mine are still going. In my first federation, Western Championship Wrestling, it was there I became the tag team champion, the hardcore champion, the Light Heavyweight Champion, the US Heavyweight Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion. Plus in both VCW and WCW, I AM Hall of Famer. So you see why I’m main event material and I’m cocky and arrogant right now. Let’s see, move list. (she pauses and looks up at the camera) Oh yes, my sweet, I HAVE been doing MY homework.

(she puts the laptop aside and picks up a folder which she opens and pulls out a piece of paper.)

V: Gee, your moveset looks a lot like my moveset. Both of us seem to be high flying, cocky suns of guns. Corkscrew suicide dive, samoan drop, backstabber, moonsault, dropkick….hmmmm…. Impressive but nothing I haven’t seen before. What do I have: 450 Splash, Fisherman’s suplex into a pin, Windmill Kick, caporeira handspin legdrop, rope hung boston crab. Can you say that in all the years of wresting that you have done those or can even manage to do those?

(she sighs and looks around)

V: So…. phenomenal, I think not. When you meet me, you will find out how UNphenomenal you really are. Against me, one on one, you will find out, why I’m called the Well Rounded Fighting Machine. Sure, I’m lighter, smaller, and less manly than you but in terms of experience and in terms of battles across the years under my belt, I have way more than you do. Should I be scared of someone like you? I think not. Winning by luck doesn’t impress me. Winning by skill does. I will say this though: you might want to watch some DVDs from past federations of me to do your homework on me because I guarantee you that the moves you saw me do then will not be the same moves you see me do now. I’m full of surprises and can change my repertoire at anytime. Cocky? Sure. Gifted? Talented? Definitely.

(she stops and looks around, puts the laptop aside, closes it with the papers inside of it so they don’t blow away and then looks back at the camera)

V: Ok, enough of that. Enough of the trash talk. Enough of how I really feel about this that and the other thing. Enough about what I think is going to happen and how it’s going to happen. There are many more words I can say but I think I said enough already. Well just enough to either get Jamie mad at me for my cockiness or blow me off as just another “newcomer” who “bit off more than she can chew”. Did it do the job? Well, we’ll have to see when we step in the ring. Hopefully this time, he’ll do more than what he did last time in the ring. Granted, last time it was a ladder/cage match with 5 other guys so you can’t really tell but even during that match, he did nothing epic that I would consider crowd awing. I’ve watch the video, I’m remembering now. He got lucky. Luck isn’t phenomenal to me. I’ve been in Elimination Chamber matches, cage matches, ladder matches, TLC matches and Falls Count Anywhere matches. Like I said, it’s what you do with the space you are given, in the time that you have.

(she stares intensely into the camera)

V: So…. what makes you phenomenal as compared to, say, me or Creed, or Pintack, or to Torin or Wormwood? What do you do that makes you phenomenal? Have you done a buried alive match? Have you done a casket match? Have you jumped off that 50 foot ladder? Have you torn the cage top of a Hell in a Cell and jumped through it to Senton Bomb an opponent? Do you take your game to the next level? Have you ever bled or broken your body but still won the match? How is your air hang time? There’s a difference between immortal and phenomenal. Trust me, I’m immortal and that’s next to phenomenal. You see where I’m going with this? A 3 year career doesn’t make one phenomenal. It’s after 7 years and many titles and many feuds is when you can say that one is phenomenal.

(she sighs, looks around and then

V: I know I mean nothing to you, my sweet because I’m so new here but you want to be big? You want to be epic? Let’s go big and epic. Let’s make that crowd come alive. We are the first match on the card but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it the most remembered match on the card. I want you to bring you’re “A’ game to me. No, I don’t mean JUST you’re A- game. I mean bring everything you’ve got. Bring it all, bring it on. Bring what you call Phenomenal and I will do everything in my power to show that you, my sweet, are just an average joe, that is nowhere near phenomenal. You want to prove something? Prove to me, prove to Woodworm, Wormwood or whatever his name is, and prove to the audience that you are, what you say you are: that you are phenomenal. Because I’m a female and once I beat you, I will have proven that you are nowhere near phenomenal. And I can guarantee you that if you don’t come prepared, this match will be a living hell for you and over real quick. This time, luck won’t help you. This time: it’s all about the skills and talents you possess when you step into the ring.

(she smiles wickedly at the camera)

V: Death by diva my sweet.

(She turns up the volume on the radio and lays down on her back and her chest heaves up and down as she sighs with pleasure, her silky smooth skin, glowing from the sun, goes up and down. The camera pans up and then fades to black.)
