Knoxville, TN -- In a story we don't get very often, the United Wrestling League has parted ways with Outlaw Championship Wrestling, effective immediately on March 3rd, 2015. League Officials have pointed to backstage politics as the reasoning. Here is a quote from League Chairman, Kevin Hill:
Those wrestlers Hill referred to are still able to compete at Retribution, as "Free Agents" now. Hill has also been saying he and the League staff will help UWL promotions contact the OCW wrestlers with contract negotiations. OOC Note - This was a quick In-Character story to explain the situation. I'm not going into much detail as to the OOC reason. Those who need to know, will know. |
