Hello everyone and welcome to the first annual UWL End of the Year award ceremony. This year, all winners were decided on by the UWL Staff. Userbars for the winners will be made soon!

Community of the Year - This award goes to the eFed who the Staff feels has the best Community. Meaning a combination of looks, activity, and OOC.
Winner: Frontier Grappling Arts
Runner Up: Adrenaline Wrestling Federation

As far as 'looks' AWF can size up with the best of them. A real sleek design, and easy to navigate forums, nearly took home the award for AWF. In the end, it was the activity of FGA that won the award. The OOC in FGA is always active. Dozens of members sign on every day. And from what I see, not any bickering takes place. The forums is also easy to navigate through, and has a clean look. FGA is the Community of the Year.

Website of the Year - Flash is a good thing. While we do not look down on 'Forum Feds' we also enjoy checking out a sweet website. This award goes to the best in the League.
Winner: Global Wrestling Revolution
Runner Up: zuWar

Zuwars innovative basis, along with their great GFX work, was a heavy favorite for Website of the Year. GWR however took the award, with their great website. I personally have not seen a layout like GWR's. While flashy, the GWR website is also very easy to navigate. Hard to get lost in the website, but there are many awesome GFX, and great pages. The 'Title Rankings' page is a personal favorite.

Up & Coming eFed Award - This award is given to the eFed that we feel, while not 'there' yet, will be one of the hottest feds around in 2013.
Winner: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Wrestling
Runner Up: Frontier Grappling Arts

WBSW was formed right around the same time the UWL opened its doors. In fact, WBSW joined the League before their first Event, and is a part of the Original Four. Since then, WBSW has done nothing but grow. The roster continues to grow, and develop. They keep it very low-budget, and doesn't do so in a cheesy way. 2013 should be a great year for WBSW. Alex Morgan works his tail off, and it's beggining to pay off. Look out for WBSW!

---------------------------------------

Breakout Star of the Year - Award given to the wrestler that put their name on the map. They are expected to do big things in 2013.
Winner: Ryan Kidd
Runner Up: Leon Corella

In some circles, Ryan Kidd is a big name. In others, he's just some young punk. In the UWL, he's a name that represents the future. He won the UWL International title at UWL Wrestlefest, then defended it, against runner up, Leon Corella. Leon, in his own right, made a name for himself. Ryan Kidd has been impressing everyone in the UWL, as well as PWX and FGA, where he has piled up the victories. What does 2013 hold for Ryan Kidd?

---------------------------------------

Tag Team of the Year - Given to the best Tag Team in the League
Winners: Real Xtreme
Runners Up: Jessica Harmony & Tiami Tyler

While not many teams participated in the UWL in 2012, that didn't mean Real Xtreme's win isn't impressive. They have run through all of the competition. They first won the titles at Wrestlefest, defeating two teams. They have defended those titles on two occasions already, making them the busiest UWL champs today. And while they are Free Agents now, Real Xtreme looks to keep their titles past 2013...

---------------------------------------

eWrestler of the Year - Given to the best eWrestler in the League
Winner: Elijah Black
Runner Up #1: Ryan Kidd
Runner Up #2: Real Xtreme

Real Xtreme's dominance nearly gave the tag team the award. Ryan Kidd's rise to fame put him in 2nd place. The winner though, was a given. Elijah Black has been perfect so far in UWL action. He became the first UWL Champion at Wrestlefest, defeating James Silkk in an ironman match. He again defeated Silkk at Championship Weekend, retaining his title. Before TSWF's closing Elijah Black was a star. He had just won the Underground Title, and no doubt was seeking more gold. No one had the year that Elijah Black had.

---------------------------------------

eFed of the Year - Given to the best of the best. The premier eFed in the League
Winner: Pro Wrestling X
Runner Up #1: Tri-State Wrestling Federation
Runner Up #2: Frontier Grappling Arts

FGA comes in 3rd place, due to it's growth in the recent months. It has become a star studded eFed. In 2nd place is TSWF, a company no longer alive. TSWF shut down weeks ago, but we could not let it's success go unnoticed. TSWF was a huge part of UWL's early success.

The eFed of the Year award goes to Pro Wrestling X due to several reasons. They were the first eFed to join the League, and has helped build the foundation of the UWL. PWX frequently posts news on the UWL Community. They also lead all current UWL eFed's in number of UWL Event sign-ups, and victories. John (the owner) works hard to keep PWX pumping out event after event, with some of the most quality matches in efedding. Congradulations to PWX for winning eFed of the Year!
