Prime Minister Theresa Clarke stood calmly at the entrance of the Royal Princeton Convention Centre, a red carpet flowed down the steps toward the road, and Franconian flags lined the walkway. Guards stood at the road, and short waist high fences stopped the assembled crowd from doing anything rash. The Prime Minister was clothed tan pantsuit, with a white blouse and tan suit jacket. She wore a thin pearl necklace, her late grandmothers, and tall beige heels. The summer sun beat down on the city, light gleaming off the Skyscrapers and the maple trees that were so common in the city.

Prime Minister Clarke was flanked by her Foreign Minister, Lawrence Prentice, the son of former Prime Minister Stephen Prentice, and her Minister of National Defence, Chris Garland. The ceremonial Guard that lined the walk towards the Convention centre stood at attention, tall leather riding boots and horsehair helmets gleaming in the sunlight.

The Prime Minister was ready for her first visitor, the first of many Heads of State and Government that were invited to today's historic conference.

Prime minister Abd El Rahman Hany was accompanied by Tarek Habib the minister of foreign affairs. In the car a small conversation was made between the two Egyptosians.
Hany said "You know Tarek? That is my first time here in Franconia" .. "Really sir?" replied Habib .. "Aha, every time it is you or the president who go.. So yeah never been here" said Hany with a smile. "I'm sure you will like it here sir, the president always loves it when he comes here .. Too bad he is sick" .. "Yeah Tarek, the doctors said that his condition is just getting worse, may Allah help him get over this" said Hany as they were getting near their destination.
"Here we go, remember what the president said Tarek, don't forget" said Hany with a serious voice, "Don't worry sir, I won't" replied Habib as they got out of the car .. "Salaam, honorable prime minister Clarke, and respected ministers Prentice and Garland" said PM Hany with a smile as he shook hands with the Franconians followed by Tarek Habib the foreign affairs minister.

"Mr. Prime Minister," Clarke says, extending a hand. "Welcome to Great Franconia and Verana, it is an honour to have you here in Princeton. I am most certainly looking forward to your opinions in our talks. Please, I have been told it is your first visit to our country, I will have to send you some of our Golden Isle wine, the finest vintage, and one of our most cherished creations."

The Prime Minister lead her Egyptosian counter parts into a large briefing room, and sat down with them, across a large circular table.

"Now we must just wait for the others."

Kaskadistan

The first thing that "Defence" brings to mind is war, and war is what we are good at.

Of course Kaskadistan would be at the meeting, ever since Walter Waffenburg engineered its meteoric rise from realitive irrelevancy, and also elevating the blood pressure of peace advocates everywhere, the nation has been awaiting a conference such as this, inevitable with a militaristic dictatorship with more armed men than was considered reasonable.

Walter Waffenburg pulled up in a long, armored limousine, with dark blue and green striping visible only if the light reflected in a certain way. An armed guard, dressed sharply in a dark blue military uniform, got out, and pulled open Walter's door, and as Walter stepped out, the crowd fell flat, icy stares attempted to pierce the composed face of this tall, chisled man. The cold did not disappate until Walter was inside, and his car parked 'round the corner.

Walter Waffenburg took a great stride into the Convention Centre, and greeted the Prime Ministers warmly, "Fine day it is for an occasion such as this, it is good to see you again Mrs. Clarke, and Mr. Rahman Hany, I don't believe we've met in person."
