Re Adrién sat at his desk in the Royal Office, looking over the profiles of his potential cabinet members. He had bee at it for the past fifteen minutes, the past week if you include the entire process. Last monday he'd been submitted a list of 32 candidates for 10 positions, plus he's added eight of his own. By Thursday he was required to shorten the list to just 20 candidates, which wasn't as easy as it may have seemed. He had to think about all the emotions, personalities, and qualities that would be involved from each candidate; and pick and choose which of his political allies would be best. He had already chosen 4 candidates, and now sat staring at the profiles for each of the 12 candidates left.

There was a knock on the door and he bellowed for them to come in. There was a slight creek as the large oak doors were pushed open to reveal his new Premier, Angélique Terzi. She had formerly served as Minister for Interior under the Guillory Administration and was the obvious choice to succeed him. "Aw Angie, thank God your here, let's get straight to it." She chuckled and sat down on the couch as he brought the folders around and sat then on the table. "And hello to you too Your Majesty," she said.

Re Adrién, "I'm sorry this is just a very stressful time, these appointments plus the address tomorrow, planning the tour in February, this was much less work when I had Kailen." Kailen Guillory had been Reine Isabella's Premier for the last two and s half years of he reign, and he had served as Re Adriéns Premier for a year and a half. Perhaps the most popular new generation politician in the nation, he'd decided to go back to Parliament for a while.

"I understand sir, I know I can't replace him but I will do my best to serve well," she picked up the first folder which was for the Interior Minister. The two candidates were Jakobe Bonnaire, Directeur of the DRE, and Edmond Gosselin, former mayor of the Acigne. "I'd most definitely go with Directeur Bonnaire on this one, while Edmond is a viable candidate he lacks the self control and dedication needed of such a high level position. Who were you looking at?" Re Adrién put down his coffee, "I was also thinking Bonnaire, one down five to go."

They swiftly moved through the Energy & Environment, Health & Public Welfare, and Transport candidates. Now the only two that were left were Education and Culture & Tourism. "So education is between Dr. Adrienne Legrand, Pyrus Chef de l'École, or Dr. Abel Hébert, Lyon Chef de l'École. They're both really great candidates but it comes down to who gather the support of the city Chefs," Re Adrién said.

Terzi was still looking over both profiles, "Hébert seems to be more qualified, he has more experience in the classroom and administration but he doesn't have the most favorable reviews from his constituents. Legrand on the other hand us very popular in the city and even made it to the top two last year. It's your call, I don't have a preference." Re Adrién sat and pondered the two candidates, he needed someone who could create favorable but effective policies, "I'm going to go with Legrand."

They were down to the last position, Culture & Torysim, and while it didn't sound important it was probable the second most important of the group at this time. Terreli tourism had been declining in recent months, due in part to its lack of incentives and several failed events. There were three candidates and it was a clear choice of who to pick.

The Premier started gathering the folders and documents, "you know this would've been much easier if you had a Chef." Re Adrién sighed, "Angie we've been through this, I don't need a Chef I've been doing just fine without one." All the folders were stacked off and the list of appointees was ready. Premier Terzi sat back down, "It's been 8 years Adrién it is time to let go of the past." Re Adrién's face shifted, "let go of the past?! How can I let go of her resigning in the midst of all of the hell that was going on? How can I let go of her leaving me blind? How Angie?" The Premier gathered her things and started towards the door, "You're stressing a and its becoming quite obvious. You can't do this alone and we both know that, Kailen tried to tell you the same thing. Don't forget that Alix didn't just up and leave, you broke her heart. All I'm asking is that you call her." With that she left and shit the door behind her.
