Hi!

I decided to write this guide, as the Zamorak Godwars Boss, lets call him K’ril, is quite unknown. Which I find quite sad, as I prefer him.

Alittle info about K'ril Tsutsaroth. He’s a lvl 650 demon, with 255 hitpoints, and a max hit of smashing 49! He attacks with magic and melee, mainly melee, and is therefore very dangerous. He CAN NOT be poisoned, so bringing a dragon mace is preferred over a dragon dagger (++).
His best drops is:

Zamorak hilt
Dragon medium Helmet
Steam battlestaff
Godsword shard 1+2+3
Zamorakian Spear

You may think: “Why would I do him? He only got 1 good drop, and he’s terribly hard”. Wel,, I’m glad I can tell you otherwise. Good things about K’ril:

1)The KC is fast with lvl 7 Imps. Theres also spiritual warriors, rangers, mages, bloodvelds, werewolfs and more.
2)He is hardly ever crowded! If you’ve been doing Bandos, you know it takes ages to find an empty world! And unless you’re a pathetic crasher, that would annoy you!
3)He is said to drop hilt more than the other bosses, together with Saradomin, seeing as that and the worthless Zamorak spear is he’s only good drops, together with Steam staff. Worthless too.. . Oh, not to mention the shards of course.
4) You do not need any special item to enter, like a hammer or mithril grapple.
5)He is quite easy to take down. I can take him alone. I did solo him successfully at lvl 111 combat.
6)Hilt is worth more than Bandos.
7)You will not be wearing anything extremely exensive, unless you use a Godsword. Which is recommended if you got it.

Now, theres also bad things about him..

1)He poisons you, and it hits 16 very often. With Sanfew potions, you do not have this problem at all though!
2)The tanker will get hit very high. He hits through your prayer sometimes. Around 1 hit through prayer each kill, but your guaranteed 40+ hit there..
3)It’s dark in Zamoraks chamber. Turn your lightning all up, or you’r going to be annoyed when you can’t see your enemys.
4)Hilt is his real only good drop. If you don’t like training controlled combat with whip, you won’t like this either. It can take long to get a drop. When you get it, it's not some worthless Bandos boots though!

Have I convinced you? I hope so! Stats:
You can not do him if your not quite high. But if you’ve been doing any other boss, you can do him too.
This is the recommended stats for team:
Attack: 80
Strength: 80
Defence: 80
Prayer: 70
Magic: 70
Range: 70 - Needed!
Summoning: (58). You really don’t need to use this, but Karamanthulhu is worth the trouble!

The magic is because you will get less magic hits with a higher magic lvl. Not needed, but recommended.
YOU DON’T NEED THESE STATS! You can minus 10 stat from every recommendation and still do it. T his is just so that you can do it efficient.
What to wear:

I like this part a lot. You don’t need anything expensive, meaning that you won’t loose your life saving here. Unless your too brave of course.

Best – Good – Emergency
Head: Torag’s helm – Netiznot Helm – Beserker Helm
Amulet: Fury – Stole / Glory – Power amulet
Torso: Karils top – Black d’hide – Any other d’hide
Legs: Karils bottom – Black d’hide – Any other d’hide
Boots: Dragon Boots – Rune boots – Climbing boots
Weapon: Godsword – Whip – D scimmy
Cape: Firecape – Trimmed Skillcape – God cape
Shield: Dragonfire shield – Dragon sq / Crystal shield – Obby / Zammy book / Granite
Gloves: BArrows - Dragon - Rune - Any RFD
Ring: Wealth if you believe in it - Warrior/Zerker if not

AS pointed out by Shadowolf64, you do need to wear a Zamorak item, if you wish to get your KC at Imps, which is recommended. I suggest stole, chaps or book.

Whip + DFS is just as deadly as a Godsword. If your going to tank, Whip + DFS will save you some brews for sure.

NOTE: KB states that Ring of Wealth does not work when using Lootshare!
Inventory:

There is two main ways to do him. Brew way or shark way.

Shark way:
1x Super set
4x prayer Potion
2x Super antipoison (If bringing twoSanfews, which is way better, remove two p pots)
Teletab / Ectophial
D mace / D hally for specs. Bring an extra shark if using Godsword.
17 Sharks

If you wish to bring a summoned monster, remove two sharks, for a summoning potion, and the scrolls for your little friend.

Brew way:
2x Super antipoison ( Sanfews = Remove two super restores)
Teletab / Ectophial
16 Saradomin Brews
6 Super restores
1/3 Sharks. For getting kc, and emergency healing.
D mace for specs. Bring an extra shark if using Godsword.
Summoning Scrolls (Unless using headgear)
How to kill K’ril:
METHOD 1: Tanker should have Melee pray – Piety – Protect item on permanently while fighting. Everyone else should try to pray for the general attacking you. Tanker goes first in, and attacks K’ril. Then goes his team. Tanker must watch for poison! Once done, kill the helpers in this order:

Melee, Tstanon Karlak: Greater Demon
Ranger, Zakl'n Gritch: Lesser demon
Mage, Balfrug Kreeyath: Black demon

K'ril Tsutsaroth: Mage and melee. Lesser demon.

Black mask can be used at them all. Recommended.

After that, you can trade food, recharge prayer, or dance alittle. Once done, put everyone but the tanker in a corner, and the tanker in the middle.

Now, when K’ril spawns he may not attack the tanker automatically. The tanker must attack him himself. That may lead to some confusion, but you will get used to it.

When you can not kill him anymore, tele away, try again, and dance for me when you got yourself a hilt, will you!?

METHOD 2: Brought back to my attention by Squeaky789. Thank you! This method, only the tanker prays melee. His inventory is already in the guide. Everyone else wears melee armour, for example Torag's. They will mage pray. That's the main difference. If your good at this, this method is better than method 1. However, if your unexperienced, getting nervous, or don't feel like taking a higher risk, stick to method 1.

This method is awesome if your ready to take a higher risk, as you may be able to stay longer. You will, however, loose more in case of death, and the chance of you getting killed will also get increased. Test them both out. If you end up tanking in melee armour, you could just as well tele immediately.

METHOD 3: Same as method 1, where you will bring a set of melee armour too! Example, if your not up to tank, put on Torag's on mage protect. That will save you aloy of damage. Don't do this if your low lvl though. You will need the brews more here. High lvl? Do this!
Other notes and tips about K’ril:
1)If he uses his special attack, and hits through your prayer, the amount of damage he deals will be taken away from your prayer, if he hits more than 30. Be ready with your prayer potions/super restores!
2)Be patient! Your drop will come!
3)Don’t crash others. That’s pathetic.

Drop Trick:
I know, I haven't posted tele runes in your inventory. If you don't know the drop trick, look here:
Withdraw 3 items, for example 3 sharks or 3 Sara brews. Put 5 laws, 4 fires and 5 airs in your inventory.
Tele to Trollheim, drop 2 sharks/brews, tele to Cammy, go bank, withdraw all 3 brews / sharks, tele to Trollheim, pick up your sharks and no space has hereby been wasted for telerunes.

Overusing Prayer:
Knowledge Base: "Beware! Over-using prayer to block this behemoth’s attacks will cause it to unleash a devastating rage like you will never have seen before." Believe in this! I tested it. I tried to kill him with a minimum of prayers and a maximum on!
With maximum on I got hit 3 times by the special attack. With minimum, none.
With minimum I had: Melee protect
With maximum: Melee protect, Steel Skin, Protect Item, Rapid Heal, Incredible Reflexes, Ultimate Strength on. That both hurt in pain and prayer pots..

Sanfew Potions:
Sanfew potions are brilliant! Their basically Super restore + Super antipoison + Disease cure! Poison and disease healed for 10 minutes, and normal super restore. Buy on GE or make yourself. Not easy, but worth it! May take days to buy.

Darklight:
I actually think this works! When you hit, it do lower K'rils defence, attack and strength! Now for the bad thing: The weapon is so bad, that you will vey rarely hit anyway. Up to you what you want! A GS completely blows Darklight away, but a Dragon mace? Test it. It's up to you.
Note: I am using it. Permanently.

Crashing: Don't do this! Pathetic.
Solo guide:

Soloing this guy is still tough, even though he is said to be one of the easiest. With luck, he is easier than Bandos. If your unlucky, you will get wasted quite quick.

There is two ways to efficiently solo Zamorak:
1)Range
2)Melee

Lets start of with range.
You will need 85 + range, preferably 95+. A very high defence of at least 85 is needed as well.
I have not ranged him myself. I have tried though. Friends of mine have completed, and told me about it. I searched the entire forums, and watched videos about it. Do not think I don’t know what im talking about!

This is the stats you should have before trying to range solo:
Range: 90
Defence: 85
Magic: 80
Prayer: 70

You should not be using sharks to this, brews is the real only way to solo him. I know that brews are annoying to use, but their very usefull. Their expensive as well, but imagine if you do get a hilt?

There is two kinds of tactic:
1)Ruby bolts (e) + Diamond bolts (e)
2)Diamond bolts (e)

The ruby bolts method, well, you probably know that if your reading here!
Smash him down to half hp, and then switch to diamond bolts. This is definetly a very good, though sometimes confusing way, to kill him.

Diamond bolts is.. Diamond bolts from the beginning to the end. This is also very efficient! You don’t need to mind on switching bolts, so this is my preferred way.

You can use either of these ways that fits you the best, their both very efficient.

What to wear:
If you plan on soloing, you must use Karils. No excuse this time, I’m sorry!
Head: Torags Helm
Amulet: Fury / Glory
Torso: Karils top
Legs: Karils bottom
Boots: Bandos - Dragon Boots
Weapon: Rune C’Bow
Cape: Accumulator
Shield: Dragonfire shield – Granite / Zammy book
Gloves: Barrows / Dragon / Rune / D'hide Vambs
Ring: Wealth if you believe in it - Archer

Inventory:
21 Sharks
3 Prayer Potions
Teletab / Ectofungus
Eventually 1 Sara brew & * restore
1 Range potionSolo Guide:

This time it’s about meleeing. That is how I, a 112 combat lvl’ed, did it.

Short and sweet; You will need some very high stats, and quite some money for this to work good. If you have both of these, go on, and get yourself a brand new hilt!

Recommended stats:
Attack: 90
Strength: 90
Defence: 90
Magic: 85
Prayer: 70
Range: 70

I did not have these stats when I did it. Pull away f5 from pretty much every single of them but prayer, and you got the ones I did it with. This is if your serious about it, and want to go more than once.

As for the range solo guide, I recommend only to use the brew method when soloing melee. You should not save money on basic equipment either. Use Karils instead of Black d’hide for example.

Here’* what you should wear:
Head: Torags Helm
Amulet: Fury / Glory / Stole
Torso: Karils top
Legs: Karils bottom
Boots: Dragon Boots – Rune boots
Weapon: Any Godsword – Whip
Cape: Firecape – Trimmed Skillcape - Godcape
Shield: Dragonfire shield – D sq / Zammy book / Crystal
Gloves: Barrows – Dragon – Rune – Any RFD
Ring: Wealth if you believe in it – Warrior / Zerker

Inventory:
21 Sharks
3 Prayer Potions
Teletab / Ectofungus
D mace / D hally if you don’t bring a Godsword
Eventually 1 Sara brew & Super restore
Super str & **r
Summoning Scrolls (Unles using your headgear to store)

Again, try it different things. I can not guarantee this will work for you. It worked for me. Try it out, and customize it for you.

You don’t need either the stats or inventory to do this. This is to be efficient again. You can do with less. I did!

FOR BOTH MELEE AND RANGE you don't need the Saradomin brew method. It'sm possible with sharks, however brews should be used. If your a high lvl you can maybe get 2 kills, if you low you can succed. Instead of tele'ing without any kills cause of need of food.
Summoning Vs. K'ril Guide:

Since the summoning update, there is a few creature you definetly should bring. Of course, you don't have to, but they will help!

I will list it in this way:

Lvl X to X - Use Familiar Y. If you have any questions, please post them!

1-34 = There is not familiar I would advice using here actually.

34-52 = Void Spinner will heal you for 1xp quite often. USefull in the long run. Best to summon just before you enter boss room.

40-52 = (Suggested by Legend Z5. Read his Fight Caves guide!) - You can use the Bull ant. Holds 9 extra items, but only lasts 30 minutes.

52-68 = Spirit Terrorbird. It can hold you 12 items. For example 12 brews!

68-79 = Bunnyip = The healing really adds up in the long run, with 8hp each minute!

79-83 = Fire Titan / Ice Titan / Moss Titan. These hugue creatures can hit quite high. You can pick whichever you want to. Some will hit high on the boss, some on the generels. I would personally pick Fire, as he gives you mage xp. Ice titan stays up for 64 minutes, Fire for 62, and Moss for 58 minutes.

83-86 = Spirit Dagannoth - Hits alot, and stuns. Awesome for every fight actually, use!

86-99 = Rune Minotaur stays up for 151 minuets! That makes him excellent for Godwars. There is others youc an use at this lvl too if you won't pay for him though.

88-95 = Unicorn Stallion. This one heals you. More, more and more. It is simply awesome! You can stay alot longer with him up!
95-99 = You would know already. Hits high.

99 = Use your steel titan. ,)

I know, I let quite a few familiars down here. (Minotaurs, Titans etc)

Squeaky789 (help from a friend)
"Whenever you're going to cross the ice bridge, dispose of your BoB (items will drop on the bridge), jump over the bridge. Drop the number of items equal to the number which your BoB can hold. Then jump over the bridge again, collect the items which your BoB dropped before, then jump over again. Summon another BoB and store your items, then pick up the items you dropped before. "

F.A.Q:

Q: Can't mage be used?
A: Not cost efficient at all. Don't even think about it!

Q: Should I bring a spec weapon if I range?
A: If your range is your highest stat, you probably shouldn’t. If not, that could be a good idea.

Q: What’s the most important melee stat in GWD?
A: Their all important. It will hurt the most if you lack on defence though.
