With all this negative stuff going on in D-backs land we are 1 GB from the Scum bags in the N.L. west and lead the wild card... plus Petit> RJ, trust me I see something in this guy. I am just pissed that we payed all this cash for 10 starts as NGO said.
Your team has been outscored 438-456. Your luck will run out soon and come down to earth. You guys should be .500 at best.
you have said that at least 3 times this year, Plus since getting a new hitting coach (after the all-star break) we have outscored opponets 67-55. Plus we have had 4 straight games scoring 7+ runs.
Luck will run out. No chance this year. Team is too young.

How is that ignorance? I never said they'll be suddenly 10 games out. Their RS/RA difference just won't do it for you.

How is that ignorance, well you just said the team has no chance this year... we are leading the wildcard, and 1 GB from you guys in the division. And you are saying we have no chance. How is that not ignorant?

The Padres, Braves, and Cubs are all better than the D'Backs. That's not ignorance.

last time I checked standings were based on W-L record not run X. And so far since getting a new hitting coach we have improved. A run X can change over the course of a season as can a W-L record but a run X is not going to directly affect you in Games back. Plus the better teams dont always make, see 2006 STL Cardinals who won it all with a 781-762 run X. Plus once again since the all-star break we have been playing better ball with an improved run X. Teams can play very differntly after the all-star break, remember the 05 nats?

Meh, we have the potential to be better than the Dumbacks, but our pieces are never running at the same time. For a while it was pitching, then hitting, and now the bullpen.

You guys are somehow 9 games over .500. SOMEHOW. It can't continue like this if the run differential is like that. Why are you comparing them to last year's Cards? They scored more runs than they allowed.
The youth will soon catch up, just like last year's Marlins. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong.

Then so be it. I did not once say in this debate that the d-backs were going to win anything, I will stick by my words that we still have a shot at making it this year. I will admidt though that the Padres, Cubs, and Braves do have a better shot...
