So with over a decade of misery and now the worst team in NFL history, where do we go from here?

I think you should build on the lines (Andre Smith), but we have so many holes, why waste on a Tackle? Maybe Sam Bradford, but he'd be ruined playing on such a horrible team. I think I'll go with a Defensive player (Linebacker?).

Did I wake you, motha fucka!?

What Detriot NEEDS to do is just get rid of the entire Defensive coaching staff. THEN start looking at players to draft. Because they haven't added a damn thing to their D. The last notable player they had on D was Rogers, and let him go. Before that, they had ... Boss Bailey? Who was a beast of a man in college, but when put in a Defense that was built to fail, didn't advance his game in any format.

It is so pathetic they stay with the same Front Office. Yes, they fired Matt Millen, but the person now in charge is just one of the assistants. So basically they will be using the same logic in every decision as used in the Millen regime. This team could go 20 years and never make the playoffs...

Detroit Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper has restructured his contract but it remains a one-year deal. Culpepper no longer has a roster bonus scheduled for Feb. 27 but there is believed to be a roster bonus at some point in the off-season or training camp.

Also, kicker Jason Hanson, who would've been hit with the franchise tag on Thursday, has signed a four-year contract. Lions president Tom Lewand said the team has no plans on using the franchise or transition tag on any other player.

The restructuring of Culpepper's contract would seem to put him in the mix for the starting job, but Lewand and head coach Jim Schwartz both said today that no decisions have been made. Lewand also said the team is continuing to talk to quarterback Dan Orlovsky, who will become an unrestricted free agent on Feb. 27.

First off, RIP Corey Smith :(

Second, Lions sign Philip Buchanon

And the Lions tried to trade for Jay Cutler

Thus far, I like what the new front office is trying to do here in Detroit
