Yes. But they are just rusty. Same thing was last season, they started out slow but were hot in the second half of the season. |

Season doesn't start until we get Kobe. Until then, I'm hardly paying attention. First game I go to is Saturday Night against the Toronto Raptors. |

We're not getting Kobe. Because it's a horrible deal for us... |

Not really. The squad we have now isn't going anywhere. Duhon-Gordon-Nocioni-Tyrus-Noah-1st Round Pick If we can pull that off, it's a great deal. Hinrich-Bryant-Deng-Joe Smith-Wallace |

That's nowhere near what they wanted. It was Deng/Gordon/T. Thomas/Joakim Noah In that case we give up all of our players, and we go from a team that right now is capable of winning 55 games to one that will struggle to win 40. |

Yea, Lakers would want Deng. If not then talks arent going anywhere unless they involve a 3rd team Bulls really just need an inside scorer. if they get Kobe then they would of course be better. But i dont think it will solve their problems |

They would be better if they dont have to give up Gordon or Deng. Man, i feel disgusted that in the offseason packson had so many chances to get a big guy for nothing, but he didnt. joe smith played pretty good yesterday |

I understand the 4 players they want. I'd offer 3 of them plus Duhon, Nocioni, and a 1st Round pick. The Lakers have always been high on Nocioni from what I hear anyways. If the Lakers lose a lot to begin the season, they may be forced to trade Kobe. The Lakers could do with Kobe what the 76ers did with Iverson last season. And they'll eventually understand there's no way they'll get Deng. Nor get a better offer. Plus, Kobe would veto the trade if Deng were involved anyhow. And the team now isn't capable of winning 55 games. I've said it before- they just aren't that good. And, Solid, yes we wouldn't have an inside scorer. But Hinrich-Bryant-Deng-Wallace could make up for that the way Jordan and Pippen did. It's pretty clear at this point this bunch isn't going anywhere. The 4some I have is an instant NBA Title contender in my opinoin. |

One thing you forgot to mention of people getting better. The East gets better. Some players overacheived last year. Frankly, the team is not that good. Couldn't hold Detroit's or Boston's jock. At best, it's #3 in the East. |
