Ok, I will start a Texans thread since I now live in Houston and cheer for the hometown team.I am hoping they atleast get 8 wins this year. They have added some talent and No, I am not a Matt Schaub lover. The reason is simple. He needs to prove himself.Everyone brags on him but I got to see what he is made of.They have improved alot on Defense. There 1st round pick has not yet signed but Im sure that will be done with soon. With Barber at Linebacker, they should really improve. He and Ryans will be a good combo.I think Keenan is back at the desk with the team talking. It would be nice to see him on the other side of Andre Johnson.Green brings alot of experience.Lets just hope he isnt a dying horse.Well, we will see what happends.

My favorite training camp quote.

Quote:

(McKinney on how much change a new quarterback brings to the offense) “I think that changing quarterbacks can change a lot of things. When I was in Indianapolis, the year before I got there, Indianapolis led the league in sacks. Pretty much the same line, maybe not even as good of a line, with me starting as a rookie, gave up the fewest number of sacks in the league. And the only thing that really changed was the quarterback, Jim Harbaugh to Peyton Manning, and a different coaching staff as well. The results were a lot different, so even small changes like that can have a big effect."

I don't break character until after the DVD commentary

Texans signed OT Kevin Barry. They're just picking up every ex-Packer they can find.

They may sign Quentin Griffin. And in other news, we are now the Houston Bay Broncos.
