CHILL's predictions: Browns 10-6 Texans 7-9 AcutB's predictions: Texans 10-6 Browns 5-11 Actual records: Browns 10-6 Texans 8-8 I won the bet in a landslide. Next time, don't shoot your mouth off. |

I will eat crow for the Browns prediction. Good job on picking them. I'm not calling Chill out on this bet because he didn't accept, and he didn't have to. But jrmy did accept the bet so I want him to wear a Texans sig for the next two weeks. In my defense, I felt the Browns were going to give Brady Quinn a shot at quarterback. |

Didn't Chill say the Texans wouldn't touch .500, though? I was close...all those games without Andre really hurt. |

Hopefully the Texans can tackle thses issues in the offseason.. 1)Re-sign Andre Davis 2)If Possible...Re-sign Wil Demps(I dont see this happening because he was making league Min. and on 610 AM they said they would offer him the same) 3)Address the CB position...Im not 100% on Robinson after this year. Yeah he was injured but at times, he made some really foolish errors. 4)Give Rosefels a chance at the starting job!! 5)Re-Sign ND Kalu(My girl works with ND's sister and I got some nice seats last year for a few games) |

Dunta Robinson may never play again.. and if he does odds are he won't be able to play CB. I do think that Fred Bennett did a nice job and is capable of starting next season. |

Eh, I like Demps but I don't want to break the bank for him. Andre Davis will be re-signed I guarantee it. There was a report on Dunta saying he will be back to full strength, and be able to play corner but maybe until like week 8 or so. We need to sign a player like Dominique Foxworth from Denver to be a 2nd corner with Fred Bennett. With Fred B, Foxworth, and Von Hutchins, I am confident in our corners until Dunta gets back. Sage isn't better than Matt, I'm sorry. You must look at stats, and not actually watch the games. I like N.D Kalu, but we don't need him. I would rather draft a pass rushing defensive end in the 4th or 5th round. Earl Cochran stepped up to fill N.D's spot, so unless we can keep him for cheap, I don't want him. My list: 1. Get healthy (Ryans, Robinson, Spencer, McKinney, Schaub, Green, Spencer, Mathis, Earl...) 2. Draft Keith Rivers |

I may be judging Matt Schaub to quickly. But to me he is at best a good QB, not Great but good. I like Rosenfels for the simple fact of respect. No, I think your looking at stats. The games I went to, Rosenfels had awesome drives and didnt hang around the pocket to long. Schaub hangs out in the pocket way to long. Look at the sacks per game and watch. Also, Schaub had the same problem Carr had. He fumbles way to much. The guy does not protect the ball enough. Thats why I like Rosenfels so much. Yeah, he's not the greatest. He can however hold onto the ball more and doesnt make bad decisions like sitting in the pocket for 5-6 seconds. i would blame the line, however the same line protected both QB's and Schaub averaged almost 1 sacak more per game. He also averaged almost 2 fumbles per game. Rust? Maybe, but I just have a feeling I will be saying I told you so at the end of the year. Demps...I can agree with you on. I wouldnt break the bank on him. If Andre Davis walks, they better get another reciever who can be a #2 guy. I would take ND over Robinson any day of the week. Kalu had a nice sack total every year in the NFL. He did great in Philly and now he is helping out on our line. We can't keep drafting defensive lineman because you start to lose valuable experience. Robinson is not a premier CB in this league. Look at his numbers. He had an awesome rookie year!Since then his numbers have declined every single year. We do need to either get a Vet CB, or draft one and anotehr back would be good because Green is another Tracy mcGrady |

1. Sage beat Josh McCown, Luke McCown, Quinn Gray, and Jay Cutler. Cutler is the only quarterback that is respectable. Sage had also had Andre Johnson for 3 of those four wins. He led our team in the worst game of year against Indy. Sage tries to force the ball into to many windows. Sage had 3 more interceptions to Matt, even though he played in two less games. 2. Kevin Walter is our #2 guy. He is the better receiver over Andre Davis. I don't want to lose Davis because of his slot ability and kick off return. But I do think Jacoby Jones will step up to his slot receiver potential. 3. What numbers are you looking at for Dunta? Interceptions? Tackles? 4. We don't need to sign another running back. We hired Alex Gibbs, who is the creator of the ZBS. He was retired last year, but before that coached at Atlanta for 3 years and then Denver before that. The three years at Atlanta, the Falcons led the NFL in rushing. I am confident in our rushing attack, but wouldn't mind drafting a runningback in the 3rd round or so. |
