Tom Brady didn't make the receivers, nor do they make Tom Brady. He has always been a Top 2 QB, but the new WR's have put him over the top, and he is having a great year.

Randy Moss didn't care or try at all in Oakland. I got to see it first hand, living close by and watching all the games. It's not like he goes to NE, and bam, he is a star again due to Brady. He was still a great WR, just didn't care. Now he is on most people's picks for SB Champs, so of course he is motivated.

Well that sure is a quality you would like in a WR. Just dog it until you can get on a better team...

Name one veteran who would be motivated while stuck on one of the worst teams in the NFL with no chance of improving anytime soon.

More players then you think, do that. Dre Bly has admitted to doing it with the Detriot Lions, and some others.

There is no reason to go all out, put your body on the line and risk injury for a team that isnt going to win anyway. Eventually they are going to ship you for some young talent anyway, so why break your neck for that organization?

To answer BayBoy and KRS at the same time.....

Not dogging it doesnt mean putting in 110%. Those are the two extremes. Even on a team with no chance, you can still give it a good effort, dosent mean you break your neck diving for plays, but it also dosent mean you give up on your routes either. There is a steady median in there that you should AT LEAST strive for. If your getting paid millions to do your job, then give it some good effort at least, dont jog around and wait for that paycheck.

I agree I understand the human side of it certainly, but human side or not, you're getting paid big bucks Moss' attitude isn't excusable, it's relatively understandable, but still not right.
