from wwe.com Preview: Star-studded and Stone Cold November 5, 2007 ![]() The stars will come out next week when the Superstars of Raw arrive at the Los Angeles STAPLES Center to witness a blockbuster night of action. As promised by Mr. McMahon, Triple H and Shawn Michaels will be reunited as D-Generation X for one night only, and they will battle WWE Champion Randy Orton & Umaga. Will HBK and The Game bring back some DX magic on the West Coast, or will they crash and burn together in McMahon’s machinations? And, as announced last week on Raw, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be in Los Angeles Monday night. Will The Texas Rattlesnake confront Santino Marella, who has been a constant tormentor and critic of the former WWE Champion’s performance in The Condemned? The former Intercontinental Champion’s mockery of Austin last week on Raw might have been the straw that broke the Rattlesnake’s back. With Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix staking her claim as the most powerful Diva in WWE, who in the Diva locker room will stand up and challenge the Glamazon? Is there anyone even in her league? And after a successful, yet tenuous partnership last week in Philadelphia, will Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes ever reach the point of mutual respect? We all will find out as Raw broadcasts from the valley of the stars at the STAPLES Center at 9/8 CT on USA Network. Stone Cold's appearance should be nice to see. It does get kind of old seeing Stone Cold all the time, but he is still enjoyable every time he walks out to the ring. DX returns for one night only. I could careless because its not the real DX I saw growing up. Should be an ok RAW tonight. |

DX Should just die already unless they get back some members but I'm sure that won't happend because no one likes Vince these days. Anyways I think it's only a one night deal thing so we will see how things go. On the other hand It will be interesting to see Stone Cold tonight hopefully he spray downs Santino will beer or something.. I think this Raw will be a decent one.. |

Tonights show was actually pretty good. DX can still cut an honest promo, and hell, Santino is a funny guy especially when he says things in his fake Italian accent. |

Results: Hollywood Showdown By Greg Adkins November 5, 2007 ![]() The events on this week’s Monday Night Raw left many WWE Superstars seeing stars—and not just because the show took place in Hollywood. Tonight’s Raw was such a blockbuster that the Superstars of SmackDown made a rare appearance. The 17, 133 fans who packed into the sold out STAPLES Center witnessed an intense tag team match setting SmackDown’s Rey Mysterio & Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy against Finlay & Mr. Kennedy in a precursor to the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match they will all be involved in on Nov. 18. Charging hard out of the gate, Mr. Kennedy brought the fight to Mysterio first. But once the bout began tilting back toward the high-flying duo, tension between Mr. Kennedy and Finlay began to mount. After a few anxious moments between the blond bruisers, the dangerous duo snapped back into the match. But just when it seemed Mr. Kennedy & Finlay’s tenuous partnership had hit a stride, Mysterio elevated his game to new heights. The aerial amigo landed a 619 on Mr. Kennedy, kicking him back into the ring. It wasn’t the place to be. As Mr. Kennedy lie on the mat, Hardy climbed the ropes and dropped a Swanton Bomb on the Green Bay, Wis. native to finish him off for the three-count. If this intense match was a sample of what will happen at Survivor Series when the team of Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio & Kane confronts the monstrous forces of Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Finlay & Big Daddy V, then the 21st annual event promises to be an epic showdown. In other Raw action: Repeat Performance In last week’s Divas Halloween Battle Royal, Kelly Kelly outlasted several of other beauties to emerge with the win. Unfortunately, her victory celebration was short-lived. The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix, entered the ring and pummeled her. The stunning – and gutsy – Kelly Kelly, seen Tuesdays on ECW on Sci-Fi, challenged Phoenix this Monday, and once again suffered a thrashing at the hands of the Women’s Champion, who won in under a minute. Apple Jacked Once again, the Caribbean Bad Apple proved lazy to the core. Rather than compete in his scheduled match against a local wrestler, Carlito informed our fans that he had arranged a replacement for himself in the form of Snitsky. After the yuck-mouthed ogre handily disposed of his opponent, Carlito congratulated the giant and went to raise his hand. But Snitsky wasn’t having it. He turned on the laid-back Superstar and doled out a swift kick to Carlito’s face, sending the chewed apple in his mouth flying all over the ring. Love Hurts Is Mickie James distracting Trevor Murdoch from “gettin’ er done”? Ever since the stunning Diva told Murdoch how much she appreciated his chivalry during a match two weeks ago, the country boy has shown that his head may not necessarily be in the ring. Murdoch’s World Tag Team Championship partner, Lance Cade, watched as up-and-coming Cody Rhodes fought the Southern-fried grappler to earn a hard-earned victory. While Murdoch continues to insist that James is not a distraction and that the two are “just friends,” Cade appears unconvinced… and perhaps with good reason. U-S-A! A-O-K! The familiar chants of Ho!, Si! and U-S-A! rang throughout the STAPLES Center as tag partners Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Super Crazy tried to whip the crowd into a cross-continental frenzy. The duo faced off against the Self-proclaimed World’s Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. In a surprising twist, the high flyer from south of the border rolled up the athletic Benjamin for the three-count. When Haas went to charge Super Crazy, he thought better of it after running up against an imposing Duggan. Back to the Future It was only a matter of time. After weeks of taunting “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Santino Marella finally felt the bite of the Texas Rattlesnake. Marella’s comeuppance came after he once again carped on Austin’s performance in his movie The Condemned. Austin laid the Italian loudmouth out with a Stunner, but he wasn’t finished there. Story | WATCH DX: Getting Their Kicks The animosity was palpable as Umaga & WWE Champion Randy Orton rambled into the ring to face off against DX, Triple H & Shawn Michaels. Like two runaway tractor trailers barreling head-on toward one another, Umaga and Triple H collided with frightening force. Meanwhile, Michaels put on an aerial display against the Legend Killer. As the saying goes, always put your best foot forward. However, a dazed and confused Orton probably didn’t appreciate HBK’s effort. Story |WATCH The first segment with everyone wanting to be in DX was dumb, but i still laughed at it. he Stone Cold/Marella segment was great and it was the best part of the show. We saw 2 ok tag matches. Overall it was a fairly decent/good RAW. |

Preview: The Game: Let's Play November 12, 2007 ![]() Survivor Series captains Triple H and Mr. Kennedy will face each other in a Lumberjack Match this Monday on Raw, and the GMs of Raw, SmackDown and ECW have announced that the remaining eight members of the opposing teams be the lumberjacks. With Rey Mysterio, Kane, and Matt and Jeff Hardy backing The Game on one side and Finlay, Big Daddy V, MVP and Umaga giving Kennedy support on the other, Monday’s match could give a preview of what the Traditional Elimination Match at Survivor Series will be like. On Thursday, the cocky, loudmouth Kennedy appointed himself the captain of his Survivor Series team and immediately challenged The Game, who wasted no time accepting. With all 10 men involved in the Traditional Elimination Match under the same roof and the same time, Raw could potential see a volatile situation this Monday. Will all hell break loose? Tune in to Raw on Monday night and find out. Shawn Michaels has floored WWE Champion Randy Orton with Sweet Chin Music an astonishing five weeks in a row. Will HBK be looking to make it a six-pack this week on Raw? Or will the champ be able to regain some momentum heading into Survivor Series? Hornswoggle, the smallest Superstar in WWE, will test his luck of the Irish when he faces the mountainous 7-foot-3, 420-pound Great Khali at Survivor Series. How will Mr. McMahon’s little bastard handle his dad’s dose of “tough love” as he prepares for the match of his life? Also, who will be able to slow down the dominant Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix? How will Santino Marella bounce back from his beer bath at the hands of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin? And will Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly be able to continue their tenuous-yet-fruitful partnership? We’ll all find out as Monday Night Raw airs live from Topeka, Kan. at 9/8 CT on USA Network. I hope Kennedy vs. HHH is decent, but i expect the lumberjacks to be quite busy during the match. Not sure what other matches they will do, so hopefully they have at least one good match. |
