Good trade for both teams.

Only thing that makes it better for the Sixers is the 1st rounder though.

I hate Korver.. Anybody who plays NBA 2K or has in the past few years probably hates him too.

Korver should be able to help the Jazz with what they sorely lack (outside shooting). But he plays no defense, which might get him stuck in the same place Giricek was.

Are you talking about his shooting style in the game? Because if you are I totally agree with you. I want to use him but I can't because hes release is so damn werid.

Phoenix’s Hill out two weeks
PHOENIX — Suns forward Grant Hill was scheduled to undergo an appendectomy Wednesday evening and is expected to miss at least two weeks.
Hill felt ill after arriving at the US Airways Center for practice Wednesday morning, Suns spokeswoman Julie Fie said. At first, everyone assumed he had the same flu that teammate Raja Bell recently had. But after being taken to see a physician, it was determined to be more serious.
He was hospitalized and scheduled for surgery.
Hill signed a two-year deal with the Suns in July and hoped to overcome seven injury-plagued years in Orlando, where he played in about a third of the Magic’s regular-season games.
He’s been injury free since coming to Phoenix, playing in all 34 regular season games and averaging 15.9 points.

The Nets probably won't trade for Jermaine O'Neal because of his health and the financial ramifications, but they are involved in other scenarios, including one with the Chicago Bulls.
According to league sources, the Bulls have discussed sending rugged forward Andres Nocioni and second-year guard Thabo Sefolosha to the Nets for Bostjan Nachbar, Marcus Williams, Antoine Wright and Jamaal Magloire. There might be other parts in the proposed deal. -- The Record

Grizzlies Tentatively Set to Release PG Stoudamire on Monday

The Memphis Grizzlies and point guard Damon Stoudamire have reached a tentative agreement to put him on waivers Monday, and if the veteran is not claimed within 48 hours he will be given his release.

A team spokesman confirmed the planned timetable for Stoudamire's release Saturday night.

Stoudamire was on the inactive list for the Grizzlies' game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and was not available for comment.

Stoudamire was signed by the Grizzlies as a free agent in 2005. He has started all 29 games he played this season and is averaging 7.3 points and 3.9 assists, but has not played since scoring four points against San Antonio on Dec. 30.

Asked Saturday night about Stoudamire's status with the team, coach Marc Iavaroni said, "I have nothing new to report.''

Stoudamire and the Grizzlies have been negotiating a buyout of his contract. Stoudamire is owed $4.6 million for next season -- a figure that would be cut in half if he plays in fewer than 55 games or averages less than 20 minutes per game this season.

He was the Grizzlies' starting point guard earlier in the season but has been relegated to the bench in favor of younger players Mike Conley Jr., the fourth overall pick in last year's draft, and Kyle Lowry, a second-year player from Villanova.

Even though Conley also was inactive Saturday because of a right chest contusion, Stoudamire was not dressed out, an indication that his departure is imminent.

Before Friday night's game in Washington, Stoudamire said he was awaiting a buyout.

"I want it done as soon as possible,'' he said. "But you've got to be patient. You've got to wait.''
