Nationals agree to terms with Paul Lo Duca. The deal will not be announced until Lo Duca has his physical. |

Interesting as Schneider went in the Milledge trade... Not quite sure what I think about this deal, I want Flores to start ASAP.

This move makes little to no sense. I'm still hoping LoDuca fails his physical (it has not been made official yet and no announcement will be made until he passes it). As for Flores, word is that LoDuca will be the starter with Flores playing backup again. I don't understand that at all. Why not let this kid develop with the pitchers and other young players on this team? Instead, they're going to stunt his development so LoDuca can hit .240 and accuse the black and latin players of being lazy. What a joke. |

Curious to see how that one works out. He's usually great when he plays in small markets but struggles in the big markets. He's emotionally fragile as getting booed has always seemed to get to him. |

Astros claim Blue Jays pitching prospect off waivers ( Ryan Houston ) Don't see why we claimed him.. when clearly our need is SP. |

Excerpt from Jon Heyman's story on any Santana deal:
I'm sorry, I don't remember what the Mets offered, but the Yankees' and Red Sox's deals were very good. They were borderline highway robbery by the Twins. Minnesota wants some team's entire farm system and no player is worth that, especially when you've got to hand out $126 million on top of it. |

Nothing in relation to Santana. But I do know they offered Carlos Gomez, Heilman, and Humber for Bedard, which got rejected. |
