M's finally did something. They always wait until everyone else has acted.

Anyways, they signed Carlos Silva to a 4-year/48 million dollar deal.

Silva had a lower ERA last season than any starter on the M's not named Felix Hernandez. It's a solid signing based on what is out there.

The Mariners have spent about $30 million on 3 pitchers in their rotation, yet it's a league average rotation.....

I'm just glad Weaver and HoRam aren't gonna be in it this year.

The M's are the favorites to get Bedard, at least according to the Seattle Times 30 minutes ago, that would be huge. And, Baltimore says they don't even care if they get Jones.

If they land Bedard and Junior stays healthy again they'll win the Central IMO.
