Bedard wanted $8 million, the M's were willing to give $6 million. They settled on $7 million.

What a bargin.

It's also rumored the M's have put together a 6-year deal for Bedard worth over $95 million.

Reds and Brandon Phillips agree to a $27 million, four-year deal.

I like this deal, he became a real threat last year and I look forward to watching him more this season.

he has definately become a favorite on the team of mine.im glad to see we got him for 4 more years. :)

Bret Boone at age 39 is going to attempt a comeback and will train with the Nationals this spring hoping to make the team. It's a Boone family reunion in D.C., now Bret, Aaron and assistant GM Bob Boone are all together.

“There’s something still in there,” Boone said Monday. “I look at it as I’ve got nothing to lose.”
