Woooooooooooooooow. :sarcasm: Who didn't see this coming? As a Gaits fan I want him to escape and never be harmed, but as a baseball fan I want him to be taken down. I'm filled with mixed emotions. |

If Bonds lied about the use to a grand jury he should be prosecuted for it, BUT he should never of been brought before a grand jury to begin with. If the government has a problem with steroid use go after the suppliers not the users, on top of that there is no reason so much tax money should be invested in patrolling sports integrity. The whole thing is a sham. Whatever happen to Palmiero after he said he never used steroids to a jury, why didn't they hunt him down to try and prove he used steroids before that testimony, considering he got caught using them after. The whole thing is a witch hunt that never should of taken place. Barry Bonds tested positive for steroids, he didn't kill, rape, or rob anybody, yet people hunt him down with the intensity as if he did, they demonize him as if he did. The guy at worst tainted the integrity of a sport, but in the grand scheme of things that's really not that big of a deal, especially considering he's only one of many, and the many don't get their names constantly dragged through the mud. |

KRS should be Barry's defense attorney, he is the only person in America who thinks Bonds didn't take steroids. |

It's amazing how much jealousy surrounds certain players when they're 2 of the Top-5 players to ever play the game (Rodriguez, Bonds). Everyone can continue to moan and groan and ridicule Bonds next year, but I'll enjoy watching him knocking Home Runs onto Sheffield Ave and fulfilling his quest for his first World Title! EDIT: I'm kidding.... |
