Is stealing wrong. Why or why not? |

It's filthy. It's simple also. If someone else works for something, who entitles you to it? If I work my ass off, pull some extra shifts for overtime, then buy a new car with my money, why are you entitled to my brand new car that I worked an extra 40 hours a week for? You should be shot in the face if you steal it. |

I feel I am entitled to your brand new truck because I donate an annual sum of one million dollars to various charities, spend time with my family despite having unfavorable work hours, and I have three dogs which I kept fed and do not subject them to fighting other dogs. I feel like I deserve your truck. |

Well, there are those who believe that it is ethical. It's compulsive. It's a rush for some. It's a mental NEED. You trick yourself into believing you NEED something, and before you know it it's in your hands without a purchase. Some people do it as a means to an end. People do it for money. Working where I do, you see things traded in and returned all the time in effort to get money, and you know in your mind that they didn't BUY those goods, or if they did, it wasn't at the value they want for it. |

Well you would be wrong in thinking that. Obviously wealthy, get your own. |

Yea well, no one has told me why stealing is wrong and Evil2uce suggested that I might be justified in doing it. I would buy my own truck but I want his - it just has something about it that no other truck has. I also need to save my money in order to build a new church for the community. If someone tells me why stealing is wrong then I wont do steal the truck. |

Stealing is only okay if it's from large corporations, because that is one of the few effective ways of hurting their stock and denting their profits. |

Unless everyone stole from them... If you're in dire need, then I guess 'stealing' or 'borrowing' is okay This is like.. there's a flood and you have no food.. you go rob some store.. cause like you starving and you gots no moneys. |

I don't think you can say it is right. I can understand stealing if you are poor and you need to feed your family so you steal $20 worth of food so you can eat...it still isn't "right" though. |
