I got Alicia Sacramone

Im not satisfied!!

Bought a NEW HDTV today. :) My parents bought me the one in my room for $300, so I decided, if I can get a better one, I will pay the difference. They agreed, and I bought this puppy.

26" 1080i LCD HDTV. Its a Westinghouse. Has the nice "Channel info" thing that my current one has, and this one has 2 HDMI ports instead of 1. I also bought a 6' HDMI cable with it for $10, but it ended up being free with my $10 off $200+ purchases.

Cost me $348. Not bad.

Keep cool my babies

Should have bought a 1080p HDTV. If you're gonna spend money, might as well get the top of the line quality. Nice tv, though.

And I think it's funny that on the link 2uce posted, they were criticizing that the tv was kinda small. It's freaking 50 inches.

Found the part....

Cons: Has only a 50-inch screen size. This is not out of line with the product's price, but is smaller than the average TV on the market today.

My tv is 52", but 52" is still huge.

The biggest TV in my house is like 37 inches, all the other TVs are around 19-27 inches. We do have like 11 TV though.

And the difference of 1080i and 1080p is already minimal, but its virtually obsolete for anything under 37". I read that from 720 to 1080 is barely noticable under 32", so.

This is true. I don't think they even make HDTVs in 1080p for 26 inchers. There may be one or two out there, but you'd have to be an idiot to willingly pay the extra money to get it over a 26" tv with 1080i (assuming all other things are equal).

Well, the TV I bought 2 weeks ago is not coming. We called after 10 days to find out why it hasnt shipped, and they said they dont carry that TV anymore, and decided not to inform us. Bullshit. So I am TRYING to convince my parents to let my buy this 37" JVC 1080p for $575.

They are not letting me buy it though because they think its a bad idea to buy off of Craiglist and they think I am going to get screwed over by this guy and I should save my money and spend it on a cheaper TV. I know this is a damn good TV for $600 because it sells for like $1100 and all the reviews I have seen are great. I dont think Im going to get it though because they wont let me.
