I would feel so embarrassed and pathetic if I scored 20 points as a team.

How about if you scored just seven points in a half?

A nice little welcome to Atlantic-10 Play in 07-08? lol. No, really, Saint Louis was actually looked half-decent in nonconference. They beat 3 teams that went to the NCAA Tournament last year including Southern Illinois plus Missouri State (yeah, I know neither those 2 turned out to be good... but at the time it looked nice). Saint Louis does have some nice recruits coming in. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the NCAA Tournament just 2-3 years after setting the lowest points record in College Basketball history!

I wasn't sure what was up with that George Washington program. Every year, they're a powerhouse. This year, they've just been miserable, haven't gotten any noteworthy recruits from my understanding, and didn't they extend that coach's contract? Maybe, this win will get their season (and perhaps program) turned around. They kind of remind me of Fresno St from Football. A mid-major powerhouse then mysteriously goes on some 12-game losing streak, and then turns it around and is set up to be a Mid-Major powerhouse again.

The Atlantic-10 is very strong this year... one of the strongest conferences in the nation at least. It looks like Xavier, Dayton, and Rhode Island will be locks. Hopefully, a team such as St. Joseph's or George Washington or Richmond or Duquesne gets hot in the Tournament. And Massachusetts gets the edge as a bubble team. We're looking at 5 times from the Atlantic-10. No matter how many bids this conference gets, it's for sure better than the Big Ten.
