No one wants Marty cause he can't win in playoffs..

That was said about Norv Turner too.

No, they just said Norv Turner couldn't win as a head coach, period.

Well that proves the tags mean nothing.

Actually, no, I don't think so. Norv didn't win anything until he had LT running for him. Turner stepped into a team that was already built for him and had just about everything in place.

I think it'll take a couple of years before you can tell if this was just him reaping the benefits of someone else's work, or if he can maintain it.

So much for Norv Turner winning. As soon as LT was sitting on the bench, good 'ole Norv was back.

Ravens owner Steve Biscotti wants to retain Rex Ryan to be the team's defensive coordinator if Ryan doesn't get a head coaching job in Atlanta.

It would certainly make John Harbaugh's life easier. It may be an uncomfortable decision for Ryan to return to work for a new coach, but he can keep his coaching stock high with a great defense.

Soooooo, a successful DC with Head Coaching aspirations forced to work under someone who's never even had a Coordinator job. Ryan will be looking for greener pastures in my opinoin.
