Considering that neither of those things requires all that much effort, I'd say don't stress yourself and do both.

IT must be nice to not have to work hard in school...don't take it for granted.

I think we are all the group of "smarter" people from 2K. I would say most of us are in the upper 3rd of our class here.

Focus on your GPA...

Standardized tests are very easy(assuming you're smart.. which it seems like you are judging from your post) so just keep your GPA up and you'll also do good on ACT/SAT.

(do as I say, not as I do....lol... i'm much too lazy to get a 4.0)

well im lazy when it comes to school, i do my home work at school and sometimes i dont get it all in. But i always ace tests.

But i got soccer year round and im stressed on my CP and AP classes, but my school is a bottom 20 school in the state of Kentucky so it wont be that hard.

If your school is low echelon, I'd highly suggest taking advantage of that opportunity with your GPA.

There are a few reasons I wouldn't wing it until the ACT:
1) It's one test... if you do bad, then what?
2) You're likely not receiving standard education from your school considering its rank (I hope that's not the case, but that's what I'm led to believe)... so you have to take into account the students of your school most likely aren't as prepared for this test as students from all the other schools in your state... In that case, I wouldn't rely on a disadvantage to receive the type of collegiate education you covet

So long, and thanks for all the fish...

I didn't get super-great grades in high school, not because I was lazy...I just knew that high school grades meant nothing, for me, so I just had fun. I still graduated with a 3.0 in mostly Honors/AP classes, but that's really not difficult, since (unfortunately) high schools seem to award grades on effort, and not knowledge, which is the exact opposite of real life.

Anyway, the point is...the best course of action is to make the most of your time in high school and have fun, do 2 years at a community college, and then transfer to a university.

University of Kentucky is what im aiming for.

Duke is a long shot, but I have a lot of time.

I mean soccer, FFA president(hopefully), Class officer, and honor graduate could help me gain admission if i achieve thos goals.

but i have time a lot of though

That's what I'm doing. It's not possible for me to get into the school I want to out of high school, so I might as well just settle for a JC for two years then go to the school I really want to. Plus I'll still have 8 semesters of tuition money from the government then.
