I've always believed Pedro was clean, just because he didn't dominate from a power fastball, he dominated with amazing breaking balls and intelligence. And, someone mentioned that Sosa's name has never really came up at all in these steroids talks, and pretty much every other power hitter of the 90's name has. Plus, even though Sosa was a really big guy, he was never amazingly huge, he never had a sudden increase in body mass, and he didn't have any of the typical physical symptoms of steroid use. I've never really liked him, but I honestly think he and Pedro were the 2 best players of the 90's. |

OMG i totally agree, BUT being a Cubs fan, I have a hard time believing he DIDNT use them. I mean yes he didn't have that huge growth in size but if you look at his numbers between 98 and 02 and you could even say in 96 when he hit 40 in only 124 games. I mean I guess that could just of been him getting naturally stronger with better training programs, but I don't know I guess my vision is tainted from all the negativity in that era. But I will agree whether he did them or not, he was one of the best players of that era no question. And about him not being named, YES he wasn't in the Mitchell Report BUT he was in the Grimsley Affidavit... http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/21/sports/b...r=1&oref=slogin |

Ken Griffey > Sammy Sosa in the 90's IMO, Sosa used HGH anyways. |

How do you go from:
To:
Maybe you weren't referring to steroids, but some other type of PED? Which woulf still be odd... And I don't see how you can immediately rule out Sosa by simply looking at his body type. Would you be able to guess Neifi Perez has used any type of PEDs by looking at him? Just because his name hasn't come up, doesn't mean he hasn't used. How many times did Andy Pettite's name come up before the Mitchell report? |

They did. That's why it's hilarious when people mention it to legitimately throw his name with all the steroid users for it. |
