Saw them in concert when their first hit came out. My then-girlfriend won tickets on the radio and we went. It was the funniest thing because it was at Annapolis and my dad was in the Coast Guard. I had an officer sticker on my car (because I was a dependent) and they saluted me at the gate. The cadets that attended didn't move the entire time. They were very well behaved -- that's normal for cadets at any of the academies as you can't get rowdy, etc... It looked funny to see an entire section sitting or standing and not moving. Anyway, the really funny thing was everyone at the concert was waiting for that song (I forget the name). The band waited forever to play it, and for good reason. As soon as they finished it, everyone was on their way out -- including us. |
