Post about games you have been to and then rant the hell on them. I remember in the early 00's I went to a doubleheader: The Diamondbacks at The Cubs. There was a white woman sitting in front of me who was wearing a Mark Grace jersey. Supposedly, she became a Diamondback fan because of how horrible the Cubs treated Grace and the Diamondbacks were the team he went to. I just remember her screaming the whole game. She was obnoxious. <_< Diamondbacks won both games. The second game was 6-2. The Cubs were up 2-1 going into the 9th, and then the Diamondback tied it 2-2 and followed with a Grand Slam to win 6-2. The first games I ever went to was a doubleheader against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Cubs lost both of course. One game was so close though. It was 1-0 the whole game with the Cubs having plenty of chances, then the Pirates scored 9 in the 9th to win 10-0. I remember all the fans booing and throwing stuff. One of my favorite games was in 2003 against Houston. Back then, both teams were good, so it was more of a rivalry. It was Slammin' Sammy's first game back. It was such a fuckin' duel between Zambrano and Oswalt. It was 0-0 the whole time and Sammy was 0-5 with 5 K's. Finally, in the bottom of the 15th, it was still 0-0 and Sammy was up with the Bases Loaded. He hit a groundball through the Infield, and the Cubs won a big game 1-0 in 15 Innings. That was crazy. Clearly, my favorite game ever was in 2004 with Cubs pitted up against rival Cincinnati Reds. The game started out as a blowout with the Reds up 7-to-2. Then, the Umps made a horrible call, and Dusty came out and was going face-to-face with the Ump. He threw his hat on the ground and was thrown out of the game. Then, the game was delayed for about 15 minutes because the fans littered the whole field in disgust. Anyways, the Cubs battled back with gradually with chances every inning tightening the score to 9-6. The Cubs rallied for 3 in the Bottom of the 9th off Danny Graves to tie 9-9. Then, Adam Dunn hit a home Run onto Sheffield Ave to retake the lead 10-9. I thought the Cubs were done. Then, first pitch in the Bottom of the 10th from Danny Graves to Slammin' Sammy ends up on Waveland Ave and the game's tied 10-10. Guess what happens the exact next pitch? Moises Alou delivers one to Waveland Ave and the Cubs win a wild come-from-behind 11-10 in the 10 Innings. It all felt like it happened in a second. The place was nutz. Last year, I went to a road game Cubs @ Cardinals at new Busch down in Southern. Cubs won but I hardly payed attention because there were so many entertaining fights. The only 2 games I went to at Wrigley last year were pretty good. The first one they made a 4-1 comeback to win 5-4 off a Cliff Floyd single and the NY Mets beat Milwaukee (there was a fan applause) and that was officially the night the Cubs took over 1st Place. The other game they lost a shootout in a very long night to the Cincinnati Reds 11-9. If you've never been to Wrigley, you really should go. I've been to a couple Bulls' Playoff games and I thought that was intense, but even the atmosphere there couldn't match Regular Season games at Wrigley. |

In 2007 I went to a Dodgers d-backs game at L.A. and did not enjoy it one bit. Livan "fatass" Herandez was the starter and gave up a 3 run shot too (of all people) Luis Gonzalez. The only highlight for us in that game was Clark solo shot, funny thing is this game I went to would be the last one the dodgers would win in a week and eventually that same streak would put them out of the division race. I did not get booed badly because I got there early and left after the ninth (you know that rumor about LA fans leaving after the 7th, its very true). I went to a d-backs game in 1998 @ texas, I dont remember what exactly happened but I do know we won 6-0, that was awesome, just found the box score: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TE...199806220.shtml I also went to the B.O.B. in 2000 to see the dbacks take on the Rangers again (huge concidence LOL) and all I remember is BK totally blew the game, he threw like 3 wild pitches and gave up 5 runs, here is the box score to that game: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/AR...200007130.shtml I really recommend you all go to chase to see a game. The 10 senior citizens that show up to the game's is crazy. I have been to a few Suns playoff games but nothing beats the atmosphere of a d-backs regular season game and the dying moans of the elderly. |

I remember a visited New York City and I saw a Mets game there. It was Mets vs Braves in 2006 season. It was amazing, the first innings the lead went back and forth. Then the Braves went up by about 6 in the mid-late innings. The the nest inning the Mets put together a great offense. They hit a bunch of small singles and a key error by the 2nd baseman let the doors open. The Mets either tied or went ahead that inning. Anyway, the game went into extra innings and nobody could score till maybe the 11th inning I think when Wilson Betemit homered to center field. Then the next inning the Mets had to score. Cliff Floyd came up and hit a game tying home run. Everybody went wild and fireworks went off. Then in the bottom of the 14th, Mets threatening. David Wright with a few runners on hits it deep to Left Center near the picnic area. It landed on the warning track and Mets won the game. It was amazing. |

Mark McGwire 550th Homerun Albert Pujols Walk off, 14th inning Homerun my favorite was, on a friday it was announced that Larry Walker got traded to the Cardinals, then the next day he comes in and pinch hits, walks but is a part of the come back win for the 105 win Cards. and 2005 Division Series vs. Padres, Reggie Sanders, oh nuthing, 12 RBI'S , the last game I ever saw at old Busch. All are cards games, Iv been to at least 35 or more Cardinal games in my life. No Im not rich, my local TV station carries cardinal games and they give out free tickets to every weekend home game, well with the new ball park you have to buy them now :( I saw a game at Camden yards Oriols vs. the dodgers I saw a games at GABP, Pujols Rolen and Edmonds hit homers, reds kept fightin, until about the 12th, with 2 outs, Willie Mo Pena drops an easy fly ball to secure the Redbird victory for the 1st game. I saw Seatle vs. Texas at the Ballpark in Arlington. I saw A-Rod, but he was a Mariner and this summer i saw 2 in Atlanta, 1st game was largest crowd in Atlanta Braves history, second game I got seats in Left Field for Sunday Night Baeball. I love MLB games |

I have only been to like 4 games and they have all been Braves/Mets games except for one Marlins/Braves game. Out of all those games there was one game where Smoltz went up against Pedro and it was a great pitchers duel. The Mets broke the game open toward the end though. Smoltz ended up with 15 K's. It was a good game. When the Yankees come here i have to go. |

I have been to a lot of A's games over my life, since I have always lived close by. I got to see McGwire put the ball through the center field, Mt. Davis windows. It was like a 500 foot shot. My most recent game was a 8-3 loss to the Yankees.
-_- The game was tied, 3-3 in the top of the 8th. Yankees scored 5 in the top of the 8th, to lead 8-3. I was so pissed. I have been to Pac Bell, I mean SBC, I mean AT&T Park once as well. Got the tickets free and got to sit about 20 rows back on the 3rd base line in the bottom section. Awesome seats. Oh yeah, and a unique thing that I get to do is go up into the press boxes whenever I want. My dad used to play for the A's and is friends with the stadium announcer, Roy Steele, as well as others in the booths. So they let him and anyone else with him come up in the press box. So I get free food like hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, drinks, etc. Whatever I want. It's awesome.
