Probably arm problems.

Why is that when pitchers do really badly, they are "hurt?" Like two weeks ago Noah Lowry was horrible, and luckily enough he had an arm injury. Just seems like they want something to blame since they did so bad.

LOOKING LIKE LEADOFF: Corey Patterson is hitting .474 this spring, mostly in the leadoff spot.

"I always thought he'd be a good leadoff man," Baker said. "He's got all the tangibles to be a leadoff man. Maybe sometime you're not ready. When he came up, he didn't know how to bunt. They said he was going to be a 30-30 man and it got in his head."

Poor Jay Bruce... That's all I gotta say.

:rotfl:

HE'S GOT ALL OF THE INTANGIBLES.....

and a career .298 OBP....

BUT HE'S GOT ALL OF THE INTANGIBLES....

Really, why the fuck would you want your leadoff man to bunt? Why would you emphasize that to him? Why would you want to overuse the bunt? ICK.

To be fair, he said "tangibles," not intangibles.

:o

I misread that. Well, he doesn't have the tangibles anyways...

I guess anytime I read something from Dusty, or like John Kruk, the word intangibles always resonates in the back of my mind...

Tom Verducci, one of my favorite writers, reports on the Tigers bullpen situation, and the Rays, among other things.

If Dayn Perry says to take Tampa seriously in 2008, I will.

I'm never doubting that assclown again.

Yeah, he's not bad. At least what I've read since last year. Some of his stuff is a bit out there though.

I tried slogging through one of Perry's books once. Too much gobbledy-gook. He's a little too analytical for me.

OMG I'm listening to the Hawk Harrelson dude on mlb.tv...:rotfl:

He just said this:

"4-2 bad guys"

^_^

This is breaking my balls. They're talking about "manufacturing runs" and hustling with the new ChiSox 3rd base coach(whose voice is as hoarse as fuck). ^_^
