Yah 2nd page! Now Yankee242B can stop bitching!

I am thinking of maybe just deleting all the HTML for all the teams no one here follows (Rangers, Twins, Royals, Rays, Rockies, Pirates, or whatever other teams dont have reps here).

If you're going to have some, might as well have them all.

White Sox signed Tomo Ohka today and brought him to camp. He is a terrible player now, but it wont hurt to have him in AAA as an insurance policy, and to draw the Asian market.

In other news, John Danks learned a cutter that is supposedly "nasty". Josh Fields took soon AB's vs. him and said it was nastier than advertised and he was sick of Danks talking about it all the time. Appearantly it's "Buehrle-esque" and it should really help him this season.

And for some bad news, Joe Crede was injured AGAIN. Mike Macdougal hit him in the hand with a pitch today. Crede was taken to the hospital, got x-rays, and they were negative. So he will just be listed as day-to-day, but it sure dosen't help us get any more back from San Fransisco.

Well yea but if people are complaining and skipping over page 1, then whats the point of having ANY of them? I think reducing them might help out with the people with crappy computers.

CHILL

In his bid to get one of the final 2 spots in the Chicago rotation, Ryan Dempster pitched a solid 3 Innings. Sean Gallagher, on the bubble to make the bullpen, also pitched well in his 2 innings. Hart and Cotts got out of jams(though Cotts gave up UER). Pignatiello and Ascanio each pitched a solid outing. Ceda struggled massively with control.

Fontenont and Pie went deep for the Cubs while Theriot and Fukudome reached base in each of their at-bats. Former Sock Alex Cintron had a rough debut going 0-for-3 stranding 7 runs.

Fukudome also has a sense of humor. While Theriot was being interviewed in the visitors' clubhouse, Fukudome picked up a banana and stuck it in the shortstop's face as if it were a tape recorder or microphone.

I laughed when I heard Noah Lowry hit Fukudome on the very first pitch Fukudome saw. lol. Welcome to America!

Has Erik Bedard always been so camera/media shy?

He did an interview today after his first outing and some of his responses were annoying as hell. I don't really care for the guy much so far. But, as long as he just wins games I suppose, that's what he is paid to do.

Especially, the expectations of the Pacific Northwest, which hasn’t had a playoff team since 2001.

“Everyone else has expectations. I don’t,” Bedard said.

Then the Canadian gave a stern look and blurted, “This is way too many questions.”

There's no rumors thread, but here's one:
Chicago Sun-Times

Rowand wants Crede in San Fran
Two weeks into spring training, Aaron Rowand still is trying to add ''general manager'' to his resume. Speaking with a Sun-Times reporter Thursday, the former White Sox outfielder and South Side cult hero again petitioned for his new team, the San Francisco Giants, to acquire Sox third baseman Joe Crede.
