Superbowl Favorites, lets not get over our heads now.

Like Celts mentioned they need to fill that RB spot. Besides, Pacman Jones is by no means a lock down corner. He may be an upgrade athletically from Anthony Henry, but he isn't someone that is going to completely change your defense. Thinking that he will let the Boys' blitz alot more and bring up Roy Williams in the box, is a big stretch.

I don't see why everyone sees it as an urgency to get another RB. We already have a good one in Barber, I don't think we NEED to get another one, or at least it shouldn't be a top priority. I would rather see us go and upgrade CB, LB, and WR before we worry about the RB.

If the Cowboys can't win a single playoff game with a 2 RB set, what makes you think they can get over the hump without one?

Marion Barber III is not a feature back. He NEEDS someone to set things up for him.

RB's were not the issue in the playoffs.

CB's were not the issue for New England, that doesn't mean they shouldn't try to find a replacement for Samuel.

That's different. Getting a replace for one of your starting CB's, and getting a replacement for a 2nd runningback is not the same.

Well hurry the hell up titans, boot him out of town

But they need to make sure it is worth while trading a top 10 pick/player of his calibre for a bargain.

Can Pac Man even play though?

But my opinion is, he was kicked out for a crime he wasnt charged for, served a year for that, but still cant get reinstated even after a year? Though I think he probably needed something, Goodell needs to quit his bias, letting the patriots roam free but did the popular thing getting rid of Pac Man.

What the hell am I missing?

I just heard someone on TV call Pacman Jones one of the best corners in the game. They also went on to say if the Cowboys were to get Jones, he would shut down one side of the field.

You have got to be kidding me :rotfl:. Since when was Pacman Jones a shut down corner? So basically because he is in the news all the time, he must be a god. Well im sorry Cowboys fans, he is not that good.

Coverage wise he is a solid corner, but no were close to what people are saying. He is not a top 15 CB, im sorry. If you want to talk about his punt returning ability, then yeah he is a great player. But please spare me on the "shutdown corner" bullshit.

How can anyone say he is a shutdown corner, or even rank him anywhere if he hasn't played in a while? I think he certainly would be good if he played, but you can't just assume he is going to play at maximum level. Maybe he has the POTENTIAL to shut down one side of the field (which would be huge considered Newman shuts down the other side), but right now that is ridiculous to assume.

The thing is, when he DID play. He didn't even make a significant presence on the playing field for people to stop throwing in his direction. Because he had a good combine, Tennesee took a gamble on him. Turns out, he's a mediocre player who just can't keep business and personal separated. Waste of a trade IMO.

Really they are saying that because of how he played in college

this will be his 4th year(played in 2) and hopefully he has been conditioning.

He is all potential, he is all 100% trouble.

from day one when he had a contract hold out to now

Jones wants life on his terms right now. Of course, this always has been the case. Before he had ever played a game in the NFL, the West Virginia product did an appearance in Los Angeles with a bunch of other rookies. With him was an assistant whose job was to carry Jones’ cell phones. There were more than two.

While with Tennessee, Pro Bowl linebacker Keith Bulluck was asked to speak with Jones. The coaching staff was hoping that another star player might be able to talk some sense into him.

Jones’ sarcastic response to Bulluck: “Man, I was the No. 6 overall pick, what can you tell me?”

Judging by that qoute. This guy would be perfect for Dallas. Every known Criminal has played in Dallas and Oakland so why Break the streak? I dont care for Dallas. But to me, this guy is a distraction Point Blank.
