Burton or something
Only an inning into 2008, and I already want to punch Steve Phillips.
Barton? You haven't heard of Daric Barton?
Dude, it's Oakland. Look at it this way... when have I ever watched/followed Oakland? I'm in NL Central land, and he plays for a mediocre in the AL West.
Would you know who Josh Vitters is? Doubt it.
Heard of him. But Barton came from the Cards system in the Mulder trade. But Barton played a bit last year as well. He's probably the A's most known prospect.
Look at the Eastern Sports Propaganda Network's MLB Page right now.
It makes me want to puke.

Here comes another year of constant Yankee-Red Sox talk from ESPN...
I'll stick with my lowly nats.

And we have Steve Phillips announcing Game 1 of the Regular Season.
It's going to be a long year.
-_- Can't wait for MLB Network in '09. Hopefully, it doesn't turn into this.

Well hey, hopefully this will be the Cubbies year?
I'd like to see it happen.

The title of this article should actually be "ESPN radically shifts baseball's culture by actively promoting the Red Sox." Keep ESPN News on for 24 hours and seriously count up the number of Red Sox stories versus every other team in the majors and it's seriously comical. For no other team would the freakin' walk off the airplane in Japan get any media attention. I'd be done with the channel if there was ANY alternative for sports coverage.
