The A's were the "home" team in both games? I would've thought they were going to alternate. |

There were far more Red Sox fans, too. Does anyone know how much revenue the A's will get from the two games? |

Can we make another one of these for the Opening Week or Day, and get it stickied? |

So that's means the Athletics lose 2 homes games while the Red Sox lose none at Fenway? Reason #14234 why Bud Selig needs to be fired. |

MLB will fully compensate them in terms of revenue, so there's no problem there. As for the fans, yeah, all 4 of them, one including Jrmy, are probably pissed. |

The revenue part doesn't make it fair at all. It's the fact both team don't each lose 1 game at their own home ballpark in front of all their fans, in their own locker rooms, etc. It's a neutral site game for both, there's absolutely no justification as to why one team loses two and the other doesn't even lose one. If you think it is fair, then you're an idiot. |

Maybe it asked of the teams, would you rather have 2 more games at home, or have last at-bats. Maybe Oakland decided they would rather have the last at-bats than have 2 more home games. Or maybe the Red Sox were cocky and decided they didn't need the last at-bats, or maybe since the Red Sox ACTUALLY have fans in Japan, and no one there has ever heard of the A's, they decided since everyone will support the Red Sox, the A's would get homefield rights. Could be anyone's guess until anything is said about it, but I am curious exactly as to why it wasn't split. |

The Red Sox would have never agreed with the trip in the first place if they'd lose a home game. |
