cincy finishing 2nd in the nl central. that would be nice but come on.
Is it really out of the realm of possibility? Heck no. They have a stud in Adam Dunn, and some nice complementary offensive tools around him like Griffey and Phillips. If the Keppingers and Encarnacions repeat what they did last year offensively for a year, and Votto gets more playing time than Corey Patterson, their offense is dangerous. They also have a solid ace in Harang, and some young studs around him.
i know im a reds fan and yes its possible.but i just don't see it happening.i don't think having dusty baker as manager for the 1st year will be that much of a turnaround this year.hell i hope im wrong but i see them improving under baker in his second year and not his first.

wow
you have to be the most unbiased fan i've ever met!
Thats a skill
Reds need to dump Griffey and Dunn for prospects before they become talented again in my mind
Dunn is no stud by the way, 40 homers, .200 avg., and not that good in the field.

No, he's definitely not a stud. A guy who is a lock for a .380 OBP, 135 OPS+ 100 BBs, etc. etc. every year is definitely not a stud.
I would much rather have a guy that has a .300 average like Juan Pierre.
That, in a nutshell, is why I despise batting average.

Well, Dunn is more valuable than certain other players, but I don't think I'd equate him with a stud. A good player? Sure. But he's not a stud in my book, anyway.

Then, we have different definitions of a stud.
