Well the Stros ruin another good start today with 5unearned runs in the 7th. Thank god Wandy is back, because he has been hot all year 1.99 ERA K/9 is around 7.75 and his WHIP is at 1.16 now and he is one of the only bright spots in our rotation..

Gavin just walked his first batter in 21+ innings. It was a nice streak. Hopefully he now has acceptable periphs for SL now. Crede just missed 2 more HRs today too. One at the track, one was a double to the wall. Swish went yard, and Alexei is 2-2.
Bottom 5th 8-1 Sox
Hell no. A 4.54 K9 and a 3.41 BB9 is still fucking terrible.....
Actually his BB/9 is down to 3.26 right now, and his K/9 is up to 5.12 I'm just glad his BB/9 isn't 3.77 like some Atlanta pitcher's is right now....
Yes, but at least I don't go around putting them in my sig as if they're actually good...
But the one is my sig IS doing good....... Here are his ranks among 99 qualified starting pitchers in the majors:
FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching): 81 K/BB: 89

The likes of Shawn Chacon and Edwin Jackson have a better K/BB...
YEAH, HE'S REALLY GOOD....
Aww, shit, my bad. Hawk just called me. Apparently ERA is all the matters here...

What does Hawk have to do with anything? And yeah, I never realized Josh Beckett is having such an amazing season. He es lyk da secind best pitchur in basball!!#@$!@$! His K/BB es emazing!! Yes, his K/BB is amazing. The big problem he's running into is that A) he's giving up more flyballs than last year and B)he's giving up a crazy amount of HR, 2006-like. Given that he has these crazy good peripherals (which won't keep up at these rates), I wouldn't be surprised if he turned a corner with the HRs any day now.
As for Floyd the Fluke, he's going to experience a stomach churning regression. A crazy .203 BABIP with a 8% HR/FB is not going to keep up much longer. Like I said, he's getting very LUCKY. It's not that he's a gutsy pitcher or anything. Ask Philliesphan(I say that because he understands BABIP and all that ish, and because of Kyle Kendrick's regression ).
And you remind me of Dewon so much. He used to do that little "talk lyk dis u arz sooo awsome" thing to try mock someone, which therefore made him look like more of an idiot.

And as for Dewon, his little retard talk was very effective in getting under my skin, and I imagine it got you mad as well. And hell, his stupid antics eventually got everyone to love him, so why not give it a try, people can't dislike me any more, might as well try his approach.

Well, it's really good that he's not giving up HR, but you can't expect for him to keep such a god damn low HR/FB%. As for BABIP, that's not something he can control, and it's almost guaranteed it'll shoot up into the .280+ level, which will hurt him like hell. Even if it experiences a semi-regression and he continues to get lucky with like a .260 BABIP, you can still expect his ERA to take a hit.
As for his peripherals, he's always walked a lot of guys, so you can't expect that to improve. He did post solid K numbers in the minors, but he hasn't shown that that can translate to the major league level. That, is why he's not "good".
