Roy Oswalt so far 4innings 3runs.. another good start.
You still think I'm crazy that I considered wanting to trade him at the beginning of the year?
Still.. you just don't trade possibly the best pitcher the Stros have ever had, not to mention a top-10 pitcher the past 7years. He had another quality start, there were just a couple of bad infield plays that should have been caught but they weren't and the runners scored. EDIT: The Stros have lost 6of7 games and have scored 2runs or less in 6games straight.. with any luck Roy could have won this game.
I guess the Minnesota Twins are regretting trading Johan...
Johan would have been gone after the season..
And Carlos Gomez is a helluva player.
I really have a hard time calling a player who has a career .738 OPS and a 5% BB% in the minors a "helluva player". Let's see some performance before we're amazed by his speed. Im sorry, my eyes deceive me.

Im sorry, my eyes deceive me. Okay Joe, I'm sure your eyes and what you saw in 7 games of Gomez know more than the numbers do....
7 games seen by Joe's flawless eyes -----------> 338 games in the minors.

There are a ton of people in the world who "look" like they're a helluva player, but they can't hit the ball out of the infield.

I dont even know why Alexei even plays with a glove, and that's not an insult. He has made 4, yes 4, barehanded plays tonight. The latest one coming with a runner on 3rd, 2 outs. Deflected off Dotel, and Alexei snatches it barehanded, fires over and gets the runner. 4 times, damn.

I just realized SL's and Xx Yankee xX's IPs are nearly dead identical. Must be the location.
