Whats so funny about Rose making the top 10. The guy with the most hits shouldnt be a surprise in the top 10 whether you hate him or not.
How about that his career .375 OBP is nothing spectacular? It's good, but not legendary hitter caliber. Not Williams-en or Ruth-ian. His .409 slugging % is nothing impressive either. 604th all time. That is not a top 10 hitter either.

The only reason he's the all-time hits leader is because he's also #1 in plate appearances. Hell, in batting average he's ranked 170th all-time.

What was that Infallable? You wanted to know what his EqA was?

Well, if it's adjusted for all-time (which is putting every player in a neutral playing field, I think the year being used is something close to 1975), then here is how it looks:

Pete Rose: .289 EqA
Ted Williams: .359
Babe Ruth .363

Now, even if you hate all things EqA(and I'd much rather use wOBA), you can see it's not even fucking close. There's a huge difference between having a lot of hits and being a legendary hitter.

I could re-calculate it..
That would be nice, I will take over after but yeah thanks...

Some people will probably have to edit their 2nd round lists after though....

Alright guys Phils is going to recalculate the points (I love him for that) so as of right now expect to have to make some changes to your round 2 lists (11-20) for those that have turned it in.

Phils will have it done tomorrow, he is doing a auto sum in excel or something so it should not take him long, he just needs a little time.
