Source He won't re-sign with the Wizards as well if they don't resign Antawn Jamison, who is also a free agent. Is it a correct decision for Agent 0 to opt out of the final year of his 6 year, $65 million deal just to test the free market after a season of injury? To me, I don't want the Wizards to resign him. They don't need a scorer like Agent Zero........Antonio Daniels will do just fine at point and if they can get a great low post scorer using the money they were gonna use to re-sign Gil then...

Yeah, I don't want Arenas to return to Washington either. I think it would be cool if we went to another team that actually needs his help. Somewhere like Milwaukee where there are no PG's. I mean they do have Maurie but I think if they had Arenas he could teach Maurice a thing or two about the PG position and help him with running the offense. Now that's just a prediction, who knows where Agent 0 might end up. Hell, he might just stay there in Washington and sign a new deal for all we know. |

Arenas will be back in Washington. He was expected to opt-out because he's worth a lot more than his current contract. I think Washington will re-sign both Jamison and Arenas... it would be stupid to let the both of them walk. |

Yeah, I agree with you Lakers. It would be stupid to let Arenas AND Jamison go. I'm sure they will find a way to get them new contracts and back on the team. |

To be honest I think the Wizards are a better team without Arenas, as crazy as that may sound. |

I think if possible the best thing for the Wizards would be to sign him and then trade him for young players. This will be hard to do because he is an unrestricted free agent. |

Sign and trade ftw!! Arenas might agree to that. His lust for the money could work in Washington's favour. Most team's won't have enough money to pay him the max on a FA contract so they'd have to work a sign-and-trade to get him. Where would he go though? Phili and Indiana come to mind... can't think of any other teams that would want him. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. |
